Hi all,
Where are all the videos?? I’d love to see how you all are doing.
OMT, just as an FYI: I will be posting videos from my training with my rescue, Jack. He is a 2 year old BC mix with a very easy-going way of doing everything. He is rarely at high drive like most BC’s which is why I will be posting him with comments, good and bad.
Also, I want you all to know that since my training of Classy my walking and standing has deteriorated to the point of being unable to do either unassisted. I am training Jack using my scooter. This is presenting a ton of challenges which I am working through slowly. In the past, all my training was typical motion, body and shoulder turns, verbals, etc. I don’t have that anymore. That said, I will be working through this in a manner similar to many of you working through weaves for the first or second time.
The difficulties I face are mechanical in nature. Jack is sometimes concerned about the scooter and will move away. I have to accommodate him and vary my mechanics and body. When I get my starting videos posted you will be able to see that in action.
