Quick question about how interstate moving costs are actually calculated. I know local guys charge by the hour, but I’ve been told long-distance lines calculate the price based on the total weight of your things. How does that even work? Do they weigh the truck before and after they load my stuff, or is it all just a guessing game where they can change the price on you later?
