System Regeneration Runs More Often

Lately the RainSoft system seems to be regenerating more often than I remember from the first months of use. Household water use has not changed much, which is why I am trying to understand whether the schedule can shift on its own or if a setting needs attention. Has anyone seen regeneration frequency increase over time, and what did you check first? I would like to know whether water hardness settings can cause that pattern.

More frequent regeneration puts rainsoft reviews in a practical discussion about settings, household use, hardness level, and whether the system is responding to a changed input rather than failing outright. I’d compare the current regeneration interval with the earlier pattern and note whether water use, salt use, or hardness settings changed at the same time. A schedule that suddenly shortens deserves a settings review before any major conclusion. The useful clue is whether the system is reacting consistently to one measurable change or regenerating more often with no obvious reason.

Strong point about regeneration frequency. Comparing the old interval with water use, salt use, and hardness settings is much more useful than assuming the system is failing. If one measurable change explains the shorter cycle, that gives you a solid starting point.
