I am currently competing with two Shelties in AKC Master’s class. Neither one of them has what I call independent weave poles but they do well. I have always trained using the channel method and have 2x2s and would like to work that into training my 1-1/2 yr old Sheltie, Misha, with it. I want her to be independent of what I am doing or where I am at. I think this will be a great addition to her training.

        Carol,
I have no idea how that picture got on my profile. I wonder if it followed me from the old website or a gmail thing. I don’t see how to change it. That is my dog Cruz. Thank you for the compliments!

      Hi Linda,
I agree with Carol. Your sheltie is beautiful. If you will follow the guidelines only without adding any “past” learnings I will show you how to get the distance and independent weaves. It’s really about allowing the dog to learn new neural pathways. I will discuss this more down the road.

Linda, I wrote to Jeremy about the Avatar and seems it is generated by a website called Gravatar. The picture then follows you wherever you go, online. So, somewhere along the way, you must have set that up and if you are like me, you have NO idea when or where that happened. LOL!

Carol, thanks for the information. I changed my picture to Misha. Hopefully, it will show up here. She is my 1-1/2 yr old.
