[AU-054] MaxPup 2 Agility Foundations: Handling Skills, Proofing Games, And Foundation For Jumping Skills!

Continue to give your pup the best start in agility with amazing foundations! In this second session of the MaxPup series, you’ll continue to teach the pup handling skills, while also adding proofing games and begin the foundation to teach amazing jumping skills!

All of these will be presented as fun games that stimulate your puppy’s mind without overworking her growing body. Get your puppy ready for an amazing career by teaching phenomenal foundations!

You can also “Choose Your Adventure” to participate in a traditional online format, and you can also include LIVE group classes! Want more interaction and instant live feedback? Choose one of the LIVE options to supplement your learning! This class will give you an entire library of skills to help prepare for an amazing agility future!

Continue to expand your pup’s knowledge of handling skills, challenge him with fun proofing games, and begin teaching her how to use her body with fun jumping foundation games! This class continues the fun we started in the MaxPup Special Edition Supersized Camp, and helps move you and your pup to the next level in your training and teamwork!

We will be focusing on:

• Building independent commitment
• Solidifying verbals
• Learning handling ALL the handling moves
• Getting amazing teamwork
• Playing proofing games
• Developing a start line routine
• Teaching important skills for jumping foundation
• Building connection
• And more!

Every game will feature two levels:

• How to get started on the flat and with wings/tunnel
• How to progress the game with jump wings, jumps, and a tunnel

• Course Structure:
  • This unique “hybrid” course combines the traditional elements of Agility U’s online program with an option for LIVE participation and in-the-moment feedback! Choose Your Adventure allows you to pick your level of participation:
    • Working PLUS (Working spot in the regular online class PLUS a Working spot in the LIVE classes)
    • Working Online (Working spot in the regular online class only, auditing the live classes)
    • Auditing PLUS (Auditing spot in the regular online class PLUS a Working spot in the LIVE classes)
    • Auditing (Auditing both the online and live classes)
  • ALL Participants will be able to audit any of the LIVE online classes as well as view the recordings of these sessions at any time.
  • The LIVE group class will be approximately 2.5 hours long. Working Online and Auditing participants are welcome to audit the LIVE group sessions.
  • Each game will feature a downloadable video explanation and demo as well as a written description.
• Equipment needed (working participants only):
  • 3 jumps and jumps bars or bumps (ideally wing jumps but can be wingless jumps), 2 barrels, 1 tunnel (10 feet or longer) and tunnel bags.
• Space required (working participants only):
  • All games can be played in small spaces. All you need is a small, clear space and good footing! We can tweak any and all of the games to fit your space 🙂
• Type of participation:
  • [SOLD OUT] Working PLUS: This level includes working participation in BOTH the traditional online class and the LIVE class sessions! This includes a working spot in one of the LIVE online classes as well as a working spot in the regular online class. You will be able to work your puppy in the live online class for in-the-moment feedback and training suggestions, post videos of your training in the online classroom for feedback and training suggestions, ask questions, participate in discussions and chat, as well as audit the other LIVE online session(s) and view the recording of the live classes. Space Is Limited!
  • [SOLD OUT] Auditing PLUS: This level includes auditing participation in online class and working participation in the LIVE class sessions! This includes a working spot in one of the LIVE online classes as well as an auditing spot in the regular online class. You will be able to work your puppy in the live online class for in-the-moment feedback and training suggestions, and access to ALL of the LIVE and online classroom features, as well as participation in discussions and chat in both the regular online class forums and during the LIVE online class sessions. Space Is Limited!
  • [CLOSED] Working Online: This level includes a working spot in the regular online classroom and auditing the LIVE online classes. You will be able to post videos of your training in the online classroom for feedback and training suggestions, ask questions, participate in discussions and chat, as well as audit the LIVE online session(s) and view the recording of the live classes. Limit: unlimited
  • Auditing: This level includes access to ALL of the LIVE and online classroom features, as well as participation in discussions and chat in both the regular online class forums and during the LIVE online class sessions. Limit: unlimited
