ParticipantI have a Grand Oaks x Norwood BC. I think Enzo is a great looking dog

ParticipantBarb, really like Enzo. Where did you get him?

ParticipantDogs and I prefer to work in 12 degrees than 90 degrees

Participanti worked Kasoom for less than 5 minutes – COLD – I was 14 feet away from the jump and that seemed to help. He was much more confident about passing the jump and I tried to not turn my body so much. He has no problem understanding the outside arm on the “get out”. Thanks for your advise. Now on to the other drills and sequences. The snow should be gone from the field by Thursday. I love Colorado.

ParticipantRight now there is a foot of snow on the ground. I am debating about shoveling out some jumps to practice this, but my body needs a rest from all the other shoveling I have done.

ParticipantOK I went out again – it is snowing, but I have a sand field so can work in snow. Anyways, I filmed my self this time. I can see that I am turning my body (large down jacket, look like a ballon) towards the jump when I am trying to make connection with just a regular connection. So I am turned too much into the jump. with the clothing and my stiff body it is hard to turn my head to see the dog and not turn my whole body. Poor Kasoom is trying so hard to figure out what I want. He easily understands when I put out my arm to take the jump. I just have to figure out how to run forward head turned, connect and not turn my entire body when doing a regular connection.

ParticipantThanks, perfectly clear. Now on to the other exercises.

ParticipantBy the way I did sit and watch the seminar all three hours, though walked around my living room much of the time. I am a bit too hyper to sit all the time.
