ParticipantHi!
I am having some trouble knowing what type of shifting connection I am using in the moment, so your last post was very helpful. Of course the longer the sequences get, the more difficulty I have focusing on the connection!
First sequence: I tried 3 different ways. None felt great at the time.
Third sequence: Yikes! I could not remember my plan and did different crazy things each time. I ran this one with her way too many times so I could remember what I was trying to do.

ParticipantHi again,
Here are our find the 4. The last sequence was a little tough trying to get myself into the right position.

ParticipantHi!
We tried the short shifting sequences again. I notice that after the lap turn, she is going pretty wide back to the tunnel. Is this because my arm is high?
Also I still feel like I’m struggling with the blind to the spin.

ParticipantHi!
We had fun with these sequences. I had never tried a lap turn or the throw her behind me and spin move (can’t remember what that is called) and she did well! On the first FC rep I think I was too rotated or maybe too early? But the later reps felt good. I think I was late a lot on the blinds. And sometimes I feel like I can’t find her quick enough to reestablish connection after the blinds.

ParticipantHi!
>> But that also means you will need earlier timing so she can set herself up to turn
I see that I am late, but there have also been times when I was too early and pulled her off the jump (not shown in this video). It’s hard to find the sweet spot. Also i feel like I get too far ahead of her out of the tunnel and then I have no room to show decel and I end up right on the jump. Maybe this is because my obstacles are pretty close together?
In the driving ahead sequences I also was getting ahead of her so was trying very hard to hold back. She did a few head checks out of the tunnel at first. I think it’s hard to see it on the video. But she was driving well at the end.

ParticipantHi!
Watching the videos, I can see that my arm is still very high at times and my verbals are really late. I’m working on breaking my old habits. The last sequence was tough! I was having trouble staying out of her line to the tunnel and also figuring out what to do with the toy.Anne Smith
ParticipantGood morning!
We have continued to work on the zig zag. As it got more serpentine-like I had to help her more. But we will keep working on this and all the other skills.
I want to tell you how much I have enjoyed the Max Pup courses! Mochi and I both have learned so much and grown as a team! Thank you so much for all that you do!

ParticipantHi again,
Here are combo sequences. These were fun! Watching the video I realize I am still struggling with using consistent verbals. I have to practice/plan the verbals more when I walk the course.

ParticipantHi!
Here are serpentine and threadle sequences. The threadles were difficult for me.

ParticipantHi!
We started working on the zig zag grid but she is really leaping when I start to spread them out a little. The first 4 reps I used a toy on the ground. The last 2 I used a tunnel.

ParticipantHi again,
We also worked the threadles. I couldn’t figure out what my verbal was, just blurting out whatever came to me in the moment! She seemed to respond to her name. Could I use that because she is coming toward me or is it better to teach a different word?

ParticipantHi!
Here are more serpentines. I feel like I am still struggling.Anne Smith
ParticipantHi!
Mochi is 11 months now, so we will start adding a little more challenge. Thank you for the suggestion!
We tried the other site of the tunnel again. I tried keeping my arm back and connecting after the tunnel.Anne Smith
ParticipantHi!
We tried the bending grid again.
Anne Smith
ParticipantHi,
Here is our other side of the tunnel. I struggled some with the BC to the tunnel.
