ParticipantSo for catch with a jump or a whatever. Do you balance that out by letting them take the jump sometimes?
Abby Razer
ParticipantJust started looking at the next week stuff so when you use catch that means they don’t have to stay anymore right? Thanks

ParticipantLetting go is getting better woo hoo 🎉 trying out some other toys

ParticipantCurious seems like your dogs go for any toy/food at anytime. How do you adjust to choosey um yeah that’s not reinforcing today? It’s not like you can carry all food choices or toys.
Stopped a frame. Understands stick at the bottom but doing the a frame disconnects the brain and either a) slow a frame or b) super a frame. Neither come with a stick. Teeter and dog walk works fairly well. Thoughts?

ParticipantYes it was fun! I’m still formulating my questions for the thread 🙂
Cheers

ParticipantOk! Do we have a zoom call tonight or is that moved since it is a break week?
Thanks

ParticipantIt’s supposed to rain so we won’t have everything all mushed together. The not letting go happens regardless so I’ll just keep waiting and working on that. Yeah I realized I already use lets go so for the reward I’m trying to remember to add let go get it… Will carry on with shorter sessions and see what I get. Thanks!!

ParticipantFast forward thru any bits that bore you it was 65 degrees today and we had the chance to play some agility with the remote lesson. I loved his focus and play overall.
Obviously I need to have the toy less enticing how would you handle stealing the toy and zooming?
Clearly choice is important to him as the tug lost value towards the end
Still working on my words but I made sure to thank you and wait for the toy. What word do you use for get that food on the ground at my feet? Catch to me means get that cookie out of the air…
Abby Razer
ParticipantHere’s just the toy and then a bit of food follow (mr smarts not his fav because he knows the food comes back so he like to wait) and the food toy combo. Right after I turned the camera off I did get over aroused climbing my leg to steal the toy. I made an interrupt noise and then played for cookies. Is this the right thing to do?
Thanks
Abby Razer
ParticipantJust realized I owe you food and moving hand will work on that next. Thanks

ParticipantHe does really well when he’s doing service dog work with the visit que. Not so much when the agility ring crew are cute little kids 🙂 I haven’t tried anything else attached to the flirt because when he loves it it is amaze balls vs nah not today.
Here’s our food video outside is still hard for him so I was generally pleased here even if my marker words were slightly off
