So when I’m on the couch side now 9 o’clock I can easily judge left shoulder in. The 3 o clock side is my down fall in perception. In trying not to do threadle entries I think I have rewarded right shoulder in which is wrong?

Sigh hopefully next week will be better outside weather.

I don’t know what was going outside my window but it was clearly distracting so sorry for the few missed entries because of that. I started with four poles with them open and then did a second session with them angled. I’m guessing most of the screw ups are mine. I also put a picture of the clock at the front again just for good measure.

    Video link in next post.

I will flip my clock and try again so you can tell me if the entry/ wrapping is correct. Thanks

Ok so I setup my markers, the picture is attached at the start of the 2 poles video I think I was generally in the right position and correct side and I didn’t go past 2 so they were just sends… apparently crunchy treats and weaves don’t quite go together 🙂

Squished up a bit to add 2 poles some good learning at first… where am I supposed to be sending from? My clock feels a bit stilted I wanted to check in before I moved on.

    Thanks!!

PS any great take aways from clubhouse today?

Runs to Amazon to buy numbered cones. 😊 I want to try again and have you tell me if I’m right before I add two more poles… will be next week rain again.

Ok I will try to find some balance with rewarding. At times Merlin is super drivey other times super sensitive and the teeter still Feels like a sensitive obstacle. He completes it but still needs high value reinforcement. We seem to be working toward that’s the wrong obstacle and move into the right one so that’s progress.

Sidenote I wanted to ask you how you transitioned your flyball rewards to Agility. Upon reflection I feel chincy if the goal is a KFC bucket time. Are you planning any connection reward seminars that are upcoming LOL…

Loved your flyball talk yesterday! So when I was practicing yesterday I worked thru teeter on command it’s a work in progress. I’m noticing spray cheese is such a super party I’ll judge you for your next reward and not come with you to the next obstacle. Running with me has lost some value. So question is did you only use your hot dog party with the teeter or did you transfer it to other tasks? I definitely don’t want to loose value but I’m also feeling less than interesting in other areas… searching for the kfc bucket 😆

So Merlin did great today it was just me no friends:-) however I have clock dysfunction. I printed your notes but I guess I should have printed a clock to go with it. I got really thinkey about where I was in the clock and I was still probably backwards. Planning to mark more than 6pm with the tutor in future. One thing I’m boggled on is how can you send from the left side the weaves and end up left shoulder in with no threadle? Or do I just wait to go all the way around the clock right now.

This was a bit longer than I wanted but my thinking made me slower and it’s our last sunny day before it rains again. So I’ve got one practice with 2 poles and one practice with the tunnel option. I’m pretty sure pet tutor trumps the tunnel. That if he was moving ahead of time he might get tunnel sucked but I thought this was a great first try.

When do you decide to add 2 more poles?

I’m going to print this out so I know which parts of the clock to do what for next time. When is class over? I’m feeling stretched with keeping low reps (I’m determined to do this even more than I was before)… not sure I want to add the channels, still thinking. It’s raining today so I might try. I will try more left hand reps I try to be equal right then left or left then right…. how do you figure easy vs hard entry for dogs? Just curious as I have zero concept on this.

So this is me not obsessing in the moment. Merlin joined his friends today I was surprised he could focus at all. Outside the ring he was my favorite people and dogs I’ve not seen them in forever….. I hope it doesn’t rain all week again if it’s semi dry I want to go back and remember to look at my feet. I think the entries he missed here had to do with the fact my feet were not parallel to the poles. https://vimeo.com/527601863/2a5f726e83

I will try recalls past fingers crossed. If I used wings I think I’d have to use like 6, lol. Motivated Merlin equals climb on teeter just past whatever in the way 🙂 feel free to use this thread for yes this course really does work 🤩

Well it finally stopped raining and we had class yesterday. I’ll video weaves Monday if I can move,,, I’m laughing a bit as I write this I had my friend body block the teeter so I could complete a jump a frame combo. Merlin is so enthused for the teeter he climbed over and thru my friend. So we had several yay another off course teeter parties. Thank you for the teeter ❤️. What is the best way to not loose the value here but explain the teeter is not the only thing on course?

My mind is stumped by your description. I have 3 sets of 2×2 and 6 folding connected weaves. Pick what ever media is easier for your explanation.

    Sunshine today finally!!

Soggy weather and I’ve been under the weather, so no training… I read some of the other posts and I’ve never really considered channels. If you think it would benefit Merlin I’ll give it a try? If yes can you explain how you set the 2×2 to make the channel I can’t quite tell. If not I’m happy to continue just with 2×2.

    Hoping for sun!

I do everything on my right in daily life so that’s where the right side preference is coming from. I can borrow outside space (no fence at my house 😔) but it has rained so much it’s a muddy wet mess, hope to get outside soon. Hope the weather is better out your way.
