I have lotus balls. My previous dogs have loved them (oh, that ripping Velcro sound!) but Jinn is “meh”.

Sounds like I need to get a stuffable toy that she will also want to play tug with.

Hi –
I’m really struggling with the basic concept here of playing with your dog. My dog will play tug with a sheep fleece toy and I try to be really exciting. She gets into it but the toy is not motivating enough for her to want to run a speed circle – she’s still slow.

If we do any of your little exercises using food, she’s really into it. But afterwards refuses to engage with me with a toy to play. Food trumps all.

Still not getting a speed improvement in the speed circles and you said we shouldn’t be rewarding slowness, so I’m kinda stumped with that too – of whether she should get a treat or not.
