Tunnel game! He did really well! He runs through them all the time, but I had not formally introduced it. Took advantage of my older daughter visiting and being a toy helper🄰

So many good things and so much steam coming out lol!

Backup- he knows the beginning backup both ground and to platform. We haven’t visited in many weeks to platform. I was so impressed! With the food and hands he sometimes doesn’t like to go away from the source of food as well so the platform gives him a good target!

Pattern game- get it. He has done this 3 ways in a fenzi class. Food visible, food in arms like airplane and food hidden. He has big feelings about that food not being visible lol!!! He’s not shy to tell me how he feels 😃. This was harder than I anticipated for him

    Stealth control
Started with toy as I knew that would be easier than the food(or anything that means food!). We he first came out he went to toy and grabbed it and brought it to me. I started video as I am replacing it. This game was great and really got his wheels turning. I could see that the bowl was soooo much harder for him than the toy! Lots of steam here! He did so good!!!!

No rush to get to my videos. I’m playing catch up still from being gone! Enjoy your weekend and fly ball!!!

Hi! Meant to post this while I was away but I didn’t get to it. 10 hrs in the car and super long naps turned my puppy into a wild wildebeast that now is thinking of trying out for the wwf as me as his wrestling partneršŸ˜‚. Oh Quilly!

He did much better here than he did in the upstairs with more room to run!

Enjoy our destroy the barrel session šŸ˜‚. He’s sure my hand has something to do with it… bite my hand, jump on the barrel… just not sure mom. I switched to food to try to get him thinking more, which I think it did. I need to remember to keep my hands lower as he gets confused and thinks it’s something to do with my fabulous cookie hands šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. Surely there are cookies in them right.

Wow, it is not often that I see a Golden clacking like he did at the beginning of the video! Ha! My whppets and whippet mixes clack like that, BCs sometimes clack. So I guess Quill is blazing a new trail in Golden clackers LOL!!

Oh yes! He’s an air snapper lol! Promise has hers on cue šŸ˜‚. Something with my dogs 🤪! He’s been doing it from really young.

Toy races! He did really well! I’m so happy he’s still chasing after the toy even though he had the food before! That’s hard!

I do have taller barrels! A narrower hamper and a larger leaf! I’ll have them on standby for tomorrow!

The wobble board got harder as he got older as it has lots of movement now that he’s much bigger! It makes a loud noise on the carpet because it’s tile underneath! Since he was showing some hesitancy I put it on his old donut bed! I introduce the Sheltie sized fit paw which he had never seen! He did great!

The plank he has done in another class, but not turning around! He has no hesitancy there!

He is not scared of heights either lol! Ask me how I know šŸ˜‚. Jessica did a fantastic job with these puppies!

I wasn’t going to go straight into standing up, but he went straight into it!

It’s a shame that he doesn’t like food at all šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ™ƒ! This is just his kibble lol! He did so good! My only issue was trying to not choke him or make restraining bad before I released him. That was hard šŸ˜‚. Good thing he doesn’t care about being restrained to much lol!!! He had half of breakfast and then we warmed up with tugging. I was much better about remembering I have a right side too.

Collar grab! Quill is pretty good with all sorts of grabbing. We did toy and food! I was editing my video this afternoon and realized I only did it with my left side which I’m very guilty of doing lol! He was happy to add in some right side this afternoon. We still have some work to do on going through legs lol! Where did the cookie go lol?! This is promise and prytania’s line up for agility! Probably time to teach Quilly too!

Very good suggestions for toy food play! He was majorly teething the previous month and I did not want to mix them since he had hesitancy and that would have been worse with his mouth! He’s ready now 😃.

For stealth control I wanted to see how that went with the cookie/toy a full session before the novel object. I fed him half of breakfast before we started and used one of his most favorite toys! I didn’t lose him till a later rep, (the remains of a stick on the flooršŸ™ƒ). I did forget to call his name! I was focused on my reinforcement marker word lol! Unfortunately (maybe)there is no low value food for him so I will have to probably do less food reps. I did have my treat pouch on and he wasn’t mugging it! Big win!

Took outside to do with two toys and more movement! This a game we have played a lot!

I think I can probably add the novel object next time 😃

Goat tricks! I haven’t used this platform, but shaping to a platform was actually the first thing I taught him! So this was easy, I may need to try a different object. The one thing that is not easy is switching from food to toy! I have recognized this so honestly I haven’t asked for a lot of it because I didn’t want it to become an ā€œissueā€. So we’ve mostly kept separate but I’m ready to tackle now with your help 😃. I feel like he did pretty good here! He is definitely at the food needs to be elsewhere right now (which is was). He was just looking to make sure lol!

Quill’s focus last night in the brand new environment was exceptional!!! I was SO impressed! I did some RZ zone out in parking lot while another puppy was working and he was not distracted once. He’s an exceptional puppyšŸ˜. I hit the jackpot.

Here is his deceleration and turns. I had a bad cookie toss on the second rep and it had stuck to my fingers lol! So I cut out some of him looking for it šŸ˜€. No issues! He did great! We’ve done a lot of RZ zone from an early age.

Blind cross foundation. We were practicing with the older dogs and puppies got to play too at end. I didn’t get to watch the tutorial before but Carrie talked me through it. I thought I had done it wrong at first but I had toy right. Sorry, Annalise missed me switching sides on first rep.

Thank you so much for the detailed response above!!! Great things to follow!!! And yes it’s easy to do too many reps with these little exercises.

Here is his focused forward with me running behind. He did great! I almost forgot to do the right side lol! It’s hard to throw left handed.
