Ok! I’m going to try another go at this! Layering is a new skill for me!!! Yes, the heat seems to bother me more than her! I realize I’m super lucky she still wants to run like a bat out of hell in the heat😂😊! She just can’t do it for long😂. That’s ok! After two reps, I’m already starting to smell😂.

Weaves!!! I was not sure if I should put up the wing. When she missed she got it the next time, but I also made it slightly easier holding my motion till I saw she was committed.

Also, why I have I adopted airplane mode lately??!!! It’s come from the running contacts! I don’t need it there either lol. I need it to stop! Duct tape my arm Tracy!!!
The rear crosses! Ugh! We had these and then I had not kept up with it! I’m trying to maintain everything but it’s a constant battle to keep everything up with a baby dog!!!

I think I might need to go back to just one pole and the treat and train after because she became so focused on my motion.

Big news! We have a trial this coming weekend!!! We will be doing feo again with a toy for fast and t2b but I do have her entered in novice Jww and std for the first time! Time to test the waters to see where we are at! It’s a soccer arena with Air conditioning!!!!

Trying to catch up after all the company!!!
It’s just so hot and the humidity!!! I’ve lived here 8 years now and I’m still shocked at how humid it gets every July!!! Here are some of the evolution skills! Haha, the tunnel at the beginning was so tempting😂😂 and we just could not get the jump after the wrap.

The discrimination drill went well. Quit after that side because after 2 minutes of practice I feel like I’ve lots 10 gallons of water, sweating!

Worked the weaves a little this morning. Separated last 4 and rewarded for finishing last poles. moved back together reward. Moved laterally rewarded and at the end I tried the double blind. I was purposely a little late with my first blind lol, if my second was late that wasn’t on purpose lol! Now I need to add the verbals😊.

-It will be all about the verbals. I don’t think layering 11 makes sense because it assumes you will be near the exit of the dog walk… which will not happen wih a RDW on this type of course 🙂 So better options would be to hang back and send to the backside off the do walk from miles away (very doable!) and then BC 11-12. Or, do the tunnel threadle handling you did here, rear cross the tunnel and use your verbals to propel her to 13 as you head for the a-frame. Also very doable-

Haha, this never even crossed team frantic’s mind! I can picture it and it sounds exciting!!! I really could make that blind if I could hang back. I think I’m going to be forced to hang back😂😂. I will definitely have to think about different options with her😊. Hopefully, I will have that independent backside off the dogwalk. Right now, I might need to buy a scooter😂😂.

-you can play with a BC from the poles to the jump, then another BC to get her on your left on the takeoff side for the next jump to send and leave, so you are ahead of her for the running dog walk.

or, you can serp to a blind on the landing side of the jump before the RDW – but that is more running yardage for you and I am not sure if puts you far enough ahead like the 2 blinds would. (you did this at the end of the video, it was hard for you to set a good line to the DW, so I vote for the 2 blinds :))-

I could not set the line well at all lol! The flip is not Really a thing I do and It did not set a good line at all. Then I was surprised how much into outer space she went on the landing side blind to Dogwalk lol! Babysitting the push puts me A little behind. I’m going to try to play with the two blinds tomorrow and get your help. I remember doing this with you with breeze way back. Possibly master class??? The timing of the second blind is what I struggle with in a scenario like this.

-It was a little hard to see, but I think she missed the jump at :23 and :36 (I think you said go after she exited the tunnel) – and you wee trying to get the BC on the landing side of the next jump –

I will try reworking this tomorrow too with the blind a jump earlier.

I’m not going to try to run the whole thing! I know you’ll agree with that😊! I know I can find some key things to work on from each course and that will be my focus with the full courses!

-Nice line 4-5-6!! Her teeter looks FABULOUS-
Independent study of your class! We took our time and I’m so happy with it!!!

-She is still learning the default to take the jump after the backside – so totally drop the reward in as soon as she gets to the entry wing as you move through, each and every time for now, especially in these big courses. That will really help build up her understanding-

Yes, I haven’t really worked on backsides much since verbals class! I know what to do and I will toss the reward behind😊.

    Whoops! Sorry!!!

I only have two by twos. Separate the last 4?

We played with a couple elements of std 1 for a tiny bit this a.m. haha, I then went on to dog walk training. So many down ramps, so little time😂😂.

The weaves-her entry was great, but she consistently popped out at 10. I think I gave this 3 goes. Ideas for a last pole skipper.

The line to tunnel threadle. I’m going to need a very, very independent threadle for this line. Ideally, I would like to layer 11(haha I have to layer 11, no other options except for a Segway😂😂). I see no other way to get to 13 and aframe. Ideas😊?!

Didn’t try opening because my teeter was backwards and no one to help move it at 6 a.m lol!

Got in part 2! Storm clouds moving in a gentle HUMID breeze😂😂😂.

My dogwalk is still a work in progress(I have a leaper😂) so started on down ramp, (except the time I could not resist and yeah she missed the target😂😊)!

She kept missing the jump after the tunnel. I’ll admit I wasn’t sure as I was trying to book it to my position 😂😂. I realize now after watching video I needed a right command!

I think I may have almost died in the making of this brief video. Gosh would it be nice to be one and done haha! The humidity and heat is insane!!! I choose standard 2 to work on first. I felt like it had the most doable challenges for us. The heat was affecting both of our heads! I found it hard to be on time with my verbals which was unfortunate because my running speed was like I was running through a mud pit!!! Promise has more trouble with her stay in the heat! She’s like nah not doing that today lady, let’s get the show on the road.

I will break it down into parts. Had a little trouble with her going to aframe on the slice. These attempts we were better but I had to hold position more and then not be able to do the blind I would have liked.

The backside push also needs some work😊.

Question on serpentine going to dog walk after weaves … is that a left-right command. I’m still having trouble wrapping my head around what words to use in that situation.
Anyway, I thought I’d submit this and get some feedback before attempt again😊.

Hopefully this evening we can film the other parts and then maybe tomorrow we can attempt the whole thing!!!

Since my internet crashed last night on my turn 😩, I wanted another shot at sequence 1a to turn team Frantic in to team fake chill😂. Wow! She totally gets the flip!!!

Thank you so much for last night! It was a huge confidence boost for us! I wasn’t confident she would do any of it😂😂! WOW she amazed me!!! It was great fun too to be put under pressure! Something we both need to practice!

Also, friendly reminder for the GO proofing exercise for knocking the bars. I tried to be a tad quieter this morning and it worked lol!

Now we are taking a break today 😊!!!

-A theme developed: Don’t rush, take the one more step 🙂 You were moving away from some of the lines too quickly an dtoo soon, so she pulled off the line.-

This is my theme song 😂😂! Run like you are on FIRE 😂😂😂! I try to be chill, but it’s crazy hard for me. It was bad before with Breeze. Having a dog like Promise doesn’t help reform me. This one is an angry elf and growls and bites😂😂! Please don’t catch me Promise😂.
Also, wish I had 2 15 ft tunnels, the 10 footer didn’t help me out at all lol!!!

All excellent advice! I’m going to take your notes and write them on my jumper’s course map so I can remember 😊😊😊!!! We need to go back to practice our serpentines and then learn the threadles. I’ve not begun threadle wraps with her either. So much to learn with a baby! I was studying up today from the verbals class. I will try to remember to open up my shoulder more for her and not to be in such a rush.
Glad you got a internet connection😊!
    Thanks for all the advice!!!

You’re the best Tracy😊! We’ve gotten 3-5 inches of rain today!!! I’m keeping my fingers crossed it stops or doesn’t start up tomorrow night again for online class! The rain is a good forced agility break lol! We worked hard the past day and a half in the jumpers. The jumpers stuff is hard and addictive 🤣🤣!
