Jumpers 2! I knew I could not do the whole thing, so broke into pieces. The hardest element was the threadle, well since. Have not trained the threadle. I guess it’s time to go back to verbals class and start working on that lol! Also, I’ve done very little with tunnel threadle, but I was pretty happy with how she did. I Will need to break that down further also.

Also realized, my word for my backside circle wrap disappeared and became my backside slice verbal, what was my word anyway?!?😂 I can’t remember 😳. Back to review verbal class for that too!

I was much happier with my rewarding! I did much better I thought, I didn’t hesitate! The whole session was very fun and we both had a great time despite not having the skills to do it lol!! We will get there 😊😊😊!!! I can see our future and it’s going to be amazing!!!

Oh and you have had enough coffee. I used my left and right verbals wrong! I had not had my coffee and well I was in a rush before the rain to get this done. Bad trainer!!! I also could kick myself for saying YES and messing her up. I’m trying to eliminate that, but old habits die hard.

Breaking it down later this morning! Oh goodness, I don’t think it could be any hotter!!! I don’t have much of a stay today so I sent to backside one. I tried a wing before one but I was still too late😂! I won’t work on it again till I get your feedback😊.

    Jumpers course 1.

I anticipated 1-2 would be a problem for us… haha it was! Haven’t spent hardly any time on threadles or that approach to the backside. I will need to work this component separately. I tried a little later breaking this down, but her mind wasn’t there today. Starting having issues with stay so just quit. And she was just probably tired! It’s hard running agility in the swamp!

Other issue was send to second tunnel. I feel like my I was too far ahead and then showed too much decel which caused her to pull off and hesitate.
When I broke this component down I completely lost all my words when she got it and I got stuck having to do a rear lol! I could not remember which directional and fell back on switch which I used with the boys lol!

The middle part was really good, VERY happy with the go line and tunnel send!!! Wow! And her backside later!!! Good girl! I struggled here to get all the words out and fell a little silent. It all happens so fast!

Will definitely work on this one more. I want to be able to do all the ways for the opening. In my mind the threadle opening will be the best for her once she learns threadles😂😂!!!

I need to be quicker with my reward! I’m sure the mistakes were my fault. I know I caused most if not all the bars down.

Haha! Of course I was early!!! I’m always to early!!! Just as bad as late😂😂! At least it’s knocking my dust off and she has retained the training lol! She will get me back in order! I don’t know if you noticed but she did not bite me or even think about it! Good girlie 😊😂! Find my face in action😊. I prefer her verbal feedback much more than tooth hugs lol!

Her Stay was amazing!!! And I have a dog that layers!!!
Can’t wait to try it again with all the pointers😊. Awesome advice.

Lots of fun this a.m. we are knocking off the dust on some of the jumping skills since verbals class lol! I had most recently been focusing on those pesky contacts lol! All that work for one obstacle (Dogwalk)right?!?.

Love the class concept and forced myself to rewalk the sequence and look at my video when something went wrong!! Click for me lol!!! I do this at trials, I should do it at practice too 😊!

Overall I was very pleased with her! This is her full height. Still not much experience at this height, so we had some bars. I believe most bars may have been with a question for her!
We did have a don’t wanna moment on the wrap on last sequence lol! Not a surprise since it’s quite rusty and well she always liked to give lots of feedback with those anyway😂 given the chance! No mom you must always run!! No slowing is allowed!

Can’t wait to hear what you think!

    Seq 1 https://youtu.be/pyXEvpDh_fg

    Seq 2 https://youtu.be/nqgdSG3CAe4

    Seq 3 https://youtu.be/uqmjstU_NKw

Seq 4 I broke it down at end😊. It would have been nice to have rerun after breakdown, but too hot to do in this session.

    This is every attempt.

    Paxil
The clonidine or gabapentin for situational like the car.

She has been on the Paxil for a week and so far no side effects!!!

She is doing great with her agility skills! I’m hoping get life skills will eventually be just as great!!!

We had our vet behaviorist appointment today! After 15 minutes of observing her, she thought she was a candidate for meds
Lol. The appointment was about an hour and a half and promise never relaxed or stopped reacting to the people.
Hopefully with continued behavior mod and the meds she will get some relief from the anxiety that she suffers from!

A lot of games in this class are key for her! And I Truly believe she would not have been as successful in her feos without the class. Thank you so much for it😊😊!!!

Yes, Promise really loves Potter!!! He has been her leader pony for quite awhile to get her through scary stuff😊. You have me thinking though, I probably haven’t used him enough in this role in regards to agility. One difference between Saturday and Sunday was she was walked with potter on Sunday first thing at trial site, on Saturday I did not do this. Something to think about…
I did discover with class that she did much better in that new environment each time when I brought Potter or breeze along. And crating goes much better with the boys!!! So I can add potter to a crate beside her and we can use breeze as a distraction with Annalise and try that too and see what I get😊.

How awesome they can be used in both roles! Reassuring and a distraction😊.

Thankfully she’s not rich strike 😳🤣!

Very successful session last night. Practiced, not losing our minds while another dog team runs 😂!!! She was fantastic. We did on leash a little and crate. Lots of pattern games and tricks! For crate, I treated her while Potter and Annalise ran. She got a treat every time she looked away from their run. She was fantastic and not once went over threshold with all this. There were no tunnels yet lol!!! That is level 10. Haha, I was laughing on the zoom call about Contraband and tunnels because I have all too clear of image of exactly what that looks like. Tunnel!!!! Wait not my turn?!?!?🤯🤯🤯🤯

I was also very mindful of time! We stayed at just right and not overcooked😂.

We then did a fun game of weaves. There were two sets of six poles 10 feet apart. Annalise ran potter through one set, while I ran Promise through the other set! We went the same direction and opposite directions!!! Complete focus!!! What a superstar!!! Potter was a good boy too😊❤️!!!

Huge, huge progress in this department thanks to all these games 😊!!!

Great news!! Promise is in heat!!! She also still has diarrhea which Potter got too, so thankfully I think it’s just a bug. She had her annual vet appointment today and she was pretty nervous 😞. She had been in with Potter just 4 weeks ago and was pretty good with the vet! Today, she growled at him at first and was pretty nervous overall. She did come around with some pattern games and tricks while we were waiting. The next time he came in she was pretty good and performed some tricks for him and was happily taking cookies then. She left on a good note! While waiting,I noticed two tiny specks of blood on my pants and wondered where they came from, but didn’t think much of it. Later today, I noticed some blood drops on the floor. Sure enough, I checked her and she is in heat!
The vet prescribed some flagyl and she is starting to feel much better! So she is in heat and had a gastro bug. I think I chalk up Saturday to just a bad day and her performance on Sunday was even more outstanding with all she had going on!

She has gotten a well deserved rest today!!!

The diarrhea could be the challenges on Saturday, but I really think she is sick with something! Last night she woke me up twice with diarrhea. Her bad ride over on Sunday had to do with her needing to go to the bathroom I really believe.

She rode in the middle seat, which is her spot and did really well. She’s been doing really well with that for awhile now, unless I leave the car. Last week to Texas, she was amazing in the car!!! She slept a ton and was relaxed with the car moving.
In Jan/February I was experiencing great car behavior after lots and lots of behavior mod. I then tried her in the back for two relatively short trips and it set us back many months. Vomiting started again and huge foaming and anxiety back to square one. I wanted to kick myself!!!

She’s crated great in the back of the car! I was so impressed with her yesterday. I think having a noise buffer may be key for her right now. The fans were awesome for this!!!

Anyway lots of info for behaviorist! Hopefully she can figure it out! I’m kinda stumped why she can only be crated in certain areas in the car without reactions 😂. Both opposite lol!

Will you send me the link for the seminar?
I’ve been off Facebook since February and well I don’t miss it at all lol!!! Except for seminar stuff and course maps! But all that drama that went on all the time, good riddance lol!!! I do still use messenger😊.

The rest of the day was uneventful!!! She crated great out of car. No melt downs at all!!! She was great!!! Car ride home was terrific. Very happy with today!!!

I don’t really think the diarrhea this morning had to do with the car. That has never happened before. Her discomfort on the way over had to do with that. I want sure till after it was all over.

Yes, hopeful the behaviorist can help with the car issues and her behavior states in which she has a very difficult time transitioning out of!

It was Lauren Duckworth!!! Love her!!! Great, great courses! She was my judge when premier first came out and her premier courses were fabulous!!! I was hooked the first weekend on premier 🥰. She does not judge much! She was a junior handler 🥰.

Quick update! Car trip really bad. Liquid diarrhea as soon as we arrived. After she got over that she was super playful with the toy, great focus, and raring to go to get into ring.

    Her run was fabulous!!!

We are ready to take on tomorrow and make today a distant memory!!!😊

Had a great evening with friends watching the derby, lots and lots of laughs, a mint julep and a few glasses of wine😂😉! Ready for tomorrow!!! I just need to make sure I get up when my alarm goes off!
Thank you for all the advice 🥰🥰😘😘😘!!! Can’t thank you enough😊.
