ParticipantI get uncomfortable amping Chip up. When he gets barky the wheels fall off in our in-person agility class. I really think I’ll need to focus on tricks to bring him “down” before we go into the ring – lol.

ParticipantThank you so much for all this detailed feedback! I went back and watched the parts you pointed out and totally see what you’re saying. In the second sequence, where I edited part of it out, that was just me either likely at my binder or resetting bars if they were down. But later on in the video I couldn’t believe I held onto the ball so long and didn’t give it to him. 😔 We’ll definitely focus on sequence one this week, and I’ll see if I can pick out a couple of really small parts of any of the other sequences to improve my handling. Poor Chip. Thank you!!

ParticipantI only edited to cut out bar setting, looking at what I was doing next, etc, so I hope that’s okay. I did too many reps because he was avoiding jumps at the end. There’s at least one rep of each sequence, but as we went through them, more wheels began falling off. Sorry you have to sift through all this!

ParticipantI forgot to open the jumps up more. 🤦🏻♀️

ParticipantI felt like a hot mess doing these. We really struggled with Chip exiting the end of the tunnel nearest to the camera and coming in to me. He’d be looking right at me but go around the outside of the wing. Maybe I should’ve been looking at my hand so he would have too?

ParticipantHi! On the last video feedback you asked if all of Chip’s right RC’s went well. I’m not sure that all of them did, but we’re much more successful with right RCs than left.
On these lead outs, we did end up having some success with each type, but I thought I’d be better off sending the unsuccessful reps for the help. Thanks!

ParticipantGosh, we’re behind.🤪 Short sesh here, but he ended up tweaking his foot/leg. We’re struggling with RCs, so I need to figure out how to help him more. I tried pre-placing the toy to the left of the tunnel, but then he just bypassed the tunnel to get it – lol.

ParticipantOkay, first, congrats on the puppy! So cute!
You are so right about me not rewarding Chip for his attempts. I promise it wasn’t because I was unhappy with him. My mind was just immediately going to what I needed to do differently on the next rep, which is no excuse. I promised him his reward is my priority. 😊
Had to angle the jumps some to help him with this, and that made a big difference. He had more successful reps than you see here. Thanks! 😊

ParticipantIs it possible that I’m rotating my upper body too much at times?

ParticipantI’m so sorry I’m submitting three at once and sorry they are all a bit of a cluster. I was on the struggle bus – lol. Please don’t rush to get feedback done on my account. You’ve had a super busy weekend and have an injured pup. Take your time!

ParticipantI’m trying to really support him through these since the verbals aren’t there yet. Not sure why I’m not completing that third backside wrap but I think I ran out of brain-muscle coordination each time – lol.

ParticipantWarning: this is painful to watch. 😣 We’re building the plane as we fly it because we don’t have backside verbals yet. I had to end up blocking the tunnel to keep him from taking it, because my physical cues were evidently not strong enough to override the tunnel urge. 😂 We’ll get going on those backside verbals!

ParticipantYes, I did feel like I could see him better! I noticed a big difference! Thank you! (No reply needed)

ParticipantIt makes total sense, thank you! Omg, (read in a Chandler Bing voice), could I BE more disconnected?
Here’s our second attempt, if it’s OK to submit it. I forgot about the arm part of the connection 🤦🏻♀️ but hopefully I’m more focused on my dog than on the wings this time.
