ParticipantHi Charmaine! Welcome! I cannot view or comment on videos from auditors. You can still sign up for a working spot. There’s time! That way I can help you by giving you feedback on videos.
For now, read the posts from of the other working spot students. You will get a lot out of it. Also, we will be playing startline games. 🙂

ParticipantWelcome Jennifer! Laci definitely isn’t have a good time. 🙁 I encourage you to pause on agility trials for a few months.
Also, do you have videos from classes or seminars? I’d like to see the difference in performance behavior.

ParticipantWelcome Mona! Sorry about what happened with your dog. Totally understand why she wouldn’t want to tug around other dogs. Definitely don’t ask her to—she feels vulnerable so she can’t do it. This course will help.

ParticipantI recommend just using a plain old mag or blanket and not the Snuffle Mat. He was probably also more amped up because you were at a new place.

ParticipantPerfect!! Keep practicing this exercise daily!

ParticipantYou’re welcome!
You might need to give more treats—try increasing your rate of reinforcement. If it keeps happening, you can shorten the sessions and then increase them by one minute every few days.

ParticipantReally good! Dr. Overall’s Relaxation Protocol is actually the next step. Keep practicing this daily. Soon, we will be practicing this exercise in more stimulating situations.

ParticipantGreat! I look forward to seeing your first video assignment. 🙂

ParticipantWell done!! He chose to lay down on his own. That’s what I’m taking about! And clever to use the Snuffle Mat!
Ok, keep practicing daily. 🙂

ParticipantHello Hope and welcome!! I feel your pain. I had many hot runs and cold runs, so to speak. with Marvel. He is now 6 years old and only now do I feel like I have reliable behavior. It takes time. This course will help you to create reliable behavior over time while giving you the tools on how to help Jem in the moments there is a breakdown in his behavior.
Have you read the article on Mental Resilience?

ParticipantOops! I spelled her name wrong. Sorry! Maddy. 🙂

ParticipantSo the first thing I see is that Matt should move slower. Note how slow I move my hand to reward Topper.
Place the treat between Maddie’s paws.
And yes, start the conditioning process with crumbling the treats.
Good job exhaling, Matt.
Keep practicing daily. Maddie will relax. It’s like meditation–it needs to be a regular practice and it takes time before you see the affects.

ParticipantThank you again!
