Ok, I think we’re finally ready to move on from this grid? We’ve back chained several times because she’ll get 5 jumps on my left and then I try on my right and she skips the last one.
My videoing skills this week have sucked. Thought I had it and then I;d get home and I didn’t!! We’ve done the advanced decel drill a couple times. It’s quite funny. I will get it next time. We need some help. I don’t even need a distraction out there, she just runs LOL!!!

I have not done a lot of L & R. I’m trying to remember to say it when she’s doing it anyways, but it’s going to take a bit for that one to sink in. I don’t remember if you had how you started it in max pup? I know I can grab it from verbals for slackers. I did the minny pinny and used my verbals and also used my body to help her understand as well to go off to the toy.

Added the jump for the RC drill and also did some tunnel sends. Even when I did not pressure enough for her to get the jump, she still did not take the tunnel. I was amazed and so happy, what a good girl.

Ok, I understand the ININ vs free. I did not include several minutes of video where I proofed her staying and throwing back a ton of cookies for remaining in place. She was pretty determined she knew what was next and wanted to just do it!
I will help her more for the decel drills. There were a few victory laps in there 🙂

    Thanks!

    Good morning
I wanted you to see how the jump grids are going, first time with 4 jumps and now at 6′. Do they look better?
Also the threadle. I ended up spending a couple minutes working thru her not releasing to my hand being extended. Should I say “free” before I say INININ? How do they know if we’re proofing them or telling them it’s ok to move?

Deceleration was an epic fail, LOL!!! When I rewatched the video, i look pissed. I really wasn’t and I don’t think she cared either way. She also could have cared less I was standing still.

Then I was not expecting her to drive to jump #2 out of the tunnel to RC and never even set up jump #4 and she did it twice so we stopped.

I am so thankful for this course right now. What a great time to have a young dog, not that I have a lot more free time but she gets me off the couch every day to do something.
We will be spending a LOT more time on the threadle, LOL!!! As you see I probably went backwards more than forwards, but in the the end I think she started to get it.

I didn’t have the ipad set up the best for the wraps. I need to go back and re-read the dig/GO. If my body said GO along with my voice, she got it. Same with dig. Should she be able to do both with me just standing there?

I’m guessing a tad over 19″ based on being next to Ti.

I wondered about that extra step she put in, you probably mentioned that in the pdf and I missed it! I was using 5′ for spacing. Did you feel that was the appropriate distance for her?

I didn’t finish either one. What should I adjust for Josie to not skip the bounce from 4 -5? I really like how she was jumping though.

We seem to be ok on one jump from tunnel. Then I lose her. Is it better to throw a little early to get the 2nd jump? Or do more practice with one, but farther from tunnel?

Sorry about the barking, Ti was proofing us😬
I think I deleted audio on some of it.

Once I remembered where to look😛😛

I think we need to spend more time on this one. The step back sends are so awkward for me. I need to drill them, then add the dog. 😊

I started with the jumps more spread out, but thought they’d be too far to bounce. Watching her jump, I think they would have been ok.
I think of her as little, but she’s got a nice stride.

I did a few “go” at the end, but didn’t have the camera set up to get the wing I used and want to do more going the other way. I was really happy with her set point, curious to hear what you think.

    Some tunnels and sits.

She squeals if she thinks she’s behind….

Josie LOVES her tunnels. I have a harder time keeping her out then getting her in!!
