ParticipantNormally I don’t skip around much but since it’s getting close to the end of CAMP I figured I should do modules that I need the most so I can get some feedback. So here’s my try at the switch aways into layering. I just can’t get my timing on these and after watching it I think I was really on her line. On the flip side, I was so happy with how well Lu did during this session.

ParticipantOn a better note, we did have a much better Sequence #3. We didn’t get it on the first two tries, but did get it on the third (minus the last jump but I’ll take it as a win).
Attempt #1 with walkthru:
I know we aren’t supposed to post more than two reps on this exercise, but I am adding my third because I liked to see the comparison of what I actually needed to do to get a good rep (early cues, less movement).
Attempts #2, #3

ParticipantHi – very sorry to hear about Voodoo. I never met him in person but loved watching him in the demos. He always reminded me of Kippy – very similar ages and an obvious love of his mom.
Here are our clips from the session the other day. I think it was just one of those days that wasn’t great. She’s had issues with big leadouts and going around 1 which is what happened. Then I did overrun some on #3 because I was worried about #1. I just didn’t know how to handle this set up at all because I knew #3 would be hard.

ParticipantHi. So I was attempting to do the Walkthru of sequence #2 – which I did. But I’m just overall very frustrated because I literally cannot do 1-3. First half she went around jump 1 and then then second half she went around jump 3. So I spent the time rewarding her taking the first jump and then later taking the tunnel and then jump 3. I can send the clips but I am just kind of at a loss how to do this set up.

ParticipantWe tried Sequence #1 on the walk thrus. I was having a hard time even knowing how to handle the #4 jump because of the way she usually blasts out of tunnels with this kind of set up. However that was probably the best part of the whole run is that she actually turned lol.
Walk thru with attempt #1 overlay.
I watched my first attempt and thought I had lost exit line connection on #4. So tried to exaggerate it for the next attempt and did not go well. I did try to just keep going but things fall apart even worse when I don’t reset which is pretty apparent here. We have been working some of the organization exercises you posted above and I guess we’ll just keep working them….
Attempt #2

ParticipantHere is our backside wraps. This has gotten to be a pretty good skill for us but I have been working on having her sequence at 20″ because I need to work up to her competition height. I think this might be a combo of me pushing too hard and her learning the new height.

ParticipantHere’s backside slices. I didn’t want to fight with her sit so tried sending her using a wrap on the jump before. Also not sure if I’m rewarding correctly.

ParticipantWe tried discriminations tonight. It went better than expected overall but adding motion was too hard. And she wasn’t exactly wrong either lol so maybe I need a slightly different set up to make it easier. We

ParticipantHere is the actual sequence 4. I could not get the turn 3-4 because I was trying so hard to manage the turn from the tunnel so I was continuously late for 3-4.
Chaia Herrgott
ParticipantI reset the course to the map coordinates and practiced just the tunnel turns for 1-3 for sequence 4.

ParticipantHere’s Threadle sequence 3. I was still having a hard time keeping my feet going the correct way but eventually fixed myself.
Chaia Herrgott
ParticipantWe tried the second part of the threadle sequence 2 again focusing on the turn out of the tunnel. This was not exactly how it was set from the map the other day. I adjusted it a bit for the threadle but 1-3 were a very similar set up (I set a different course for Em and didn’t want to move tunnels). Plus Ii really wanted to try the threadle in sequence. But I am going to try to set the exact course in the map later this week to try just the tunnel turns only. However – she did great! These were the only reps we did and she nailed them. I on the other hand had to think REALLY hard about what I was doing so not sure if what I was doing motion wise was great or not. I was really focusing on trying to get my cues out timely.

ParticipantAnd here’s 4 corners Sequence 4. We really struggled with the opening. We had a few extra reps like the first one that I didn’t include.

ParticipantWe tried 4 corners Sequence 3 again. It was slightly improved but I still struggled with it. We also tried a standing startline for the first time. Might have to play around with this a little more.
Chaia Herrgott
ParticipantSo I’m struggling on where I should be – next to the jump near the tunnel entry or near the jump close to the tunnel exit?
