ParticipantWell it’s been rainy the last week and now the weather has took a turn to the cold. Very sad. Had to put some of my agility equipment away today. Hopefully can get a few more outdoor things done for the next couple of lessons. Here is Mission Transition. Struggled with a few things during this session. She has an upset stomach today so I didn’t want to give her any treats so we had a lot of extra guessing from her. I also had a hard time turning her to her right on the wing. I don’t know if I was putting some pressure/was on her line for a few reps but then she started patterning too. So all my rear crosses I wanted the other day I suddenly have 🤣 when I don’t want them. I decided to give up instead of continuing.

ParticipantIt’s also been raining all day and possibly later this week too so not sure how much training I’ll get to this week. But at least I was able to catch up on my editing of videos because I was behind on that. Here is the get out exercise.

ParticipantCongratulations on your flyball win! I’m guessing CanAm is like Nationals for flyball? So kind of a big deal. 😊
We did a session on the rear cross shaping. I was pretty sloppy in my clicking and verbal markers but I think she got it.

ParticipantHere’s layering foundations. I have been working the “jump” verbal and I definitely need to use it. So it was a learning curve here to figure out which words to use. I did use the soft turn verbals here on the wing as well. She had trouble going to her left and I think she was also getting a little tired so I’ll go back to that side a different day.

ParticipantI’ll try this out and then revisit the concept transfer game.

ParticipantI get so frustrated with these. Here’s concept transfer for rear crosses although it looks like I’m trying to do a bunch of wraps lol. Glad I was rewarding her every time because I kept thinking I was doing it right but then watched the video and nope.

ParticipantHere is wind in your hair backside wraps. When I rewatched this it looks like I’m blocking the wing a lot.

ParticipantHere is my nemesis: rear crosses. I’ve always had a really rough time executing these. Today was no exception lol. Please send help. However I thought my execution of the rears to the left looked decent!

Participant<The distance looked good – it was hard to tell if the center-to-center distance on the angled jumps was the same, so be sure the distance doesn’t get accidentally shorten when angling.>
Normally I measure but had to estimate instead because I was leaving to meet my parents for dinner. Next session I’ll make sure.
<replicate the exact same session you had here, but with the bars 2 inches higher. Remind me how old she is? That will help us know how quickly we can raise bars.>
She just turned 11 months.

ParticipantHere is the ladder grid

ParticipantHere is the diamond. This was very frustrating for me because I COULD NOT make myself get the blind after the wrap to the left for some reason. Lu did great. I edited out me walking probably 10 minutes of this session lol. I’ll have to revisit another day.

ParticipantI’m behind in editing so have a couple of videos from this week. Here is between the legs set up.

ParticipantWe’ve been revisiting the sends and serps. Definitely been a bit of a struggle even with changing the angle of the jump pretty significantly. This was our most recent session and I think she’s starting to get it.

ParticipantI’m looking at the collar games from Lesson 3 and I think you might have embedded repeat videos of the line up at your side and are missing the shaping collar to hand game.
