Her reactive behavior mostly happens at agility shows. The MOTION, dogs, people (which she loves) and charged atmosphere all add to her being reactive. She has never made contact. Usually she lunges and sometimes snaps it is very quick. This usually happens when a dog comes up behind or if it is an unusual looking dog like with lots of hair or boxer type face or black. I have learned most of her triggers and do my best to avoid these situations. I also make sure she is not scanning the crowd. I have been using a gentle leader at shows and this seems to help a lot. She is very easy to get back. I do tell her to “knock it off” then immediately have her do something for a treat.. sit, hand touch, down, etc. That’s all it takes to bring her back. She loves to work. We don’t have a problem with other dogs when she is working in the ring at trials or at class. She gets along well with family dogs and as she has matured gets along with other dogs off leash especially if someone is throwing something. We have come a long way from where we began but I feel she could still use more confidence building. I’m happy to hear that reactivity will be addressed. Thanks for your help. Carlene
