I think that I need to get better a continuous focus. If one little thought invades, things start to go off the rails. The thought can be good “wow, can’t believe we got through that part!” or bad “OMG, will she do the teeter today?” So, I think that’s what I need to work on. And I find this to be the case in Nosework, believe it or not. If your focus drifts for a second and you miss a body cue from the dog, you risk pulling them off the hide by ignoring their communication…sigh…:)
