Turtle is from Rosette Sport Dogs in WV. He is the most recent BW/Bearded Collie mix. I say this because I think you know who they are:) Turtle has been great! Very engaged and quick to learn. He is my first herding dog (have Dobermans and Ridgebacks), so a new fun challenge.
My second training, I sent him to treats on a target lid which we have been working on, and I added the hand motion to that picture. Then I did a few tosses of treats onto my prop and sent with the hand movement. Then did one send with hand motion to the prop without food and called it good. We will see what it looks like next session.
