ParticipantThank you! I love “singing the song of joy” and “singing our fight song”!
Here’s a quick video of him “singing”! There is no way I want to dampen his enthusiasm and joy!

ParticipantThank you so much! I think I was getting worried and more annoyed thinking about what others think! We went to a seminar last weekend and the instructor and my instructor thought maybe I should use an e-collar! I said no, no, no, not happening. He is just so excited to play the game and I love the excitement! He an amazing dog. My first lab(I have always had GSDs and malinois) He has so much joy for everything we do and just as much drive as any malinois! Your advice helps so much because it is what my instinct was telling me. His start line stay is great and when I ask for him to sit and walk away the barking stops and he is completely focused. Ignoring it and distracting is what I have been doing. Or not exactly ignoring it but laughing with him and kind of sharing the excitement. Tug, drop, get it tug, repeat, sit walk away and release. I feel that matching the excitement of my dogs instead of trying to suppress it keep us on a level together instead of far apart, more connected if that makes sense. The last thing I want to do is add stress to either of us.
He comes from TK Hot Retrievers in Idaho. Jim Closson is the breeder. I can’t recommend him enough. He knew exactly the kind of dog I was getting. He knows his dogs. At 15 months old Rev already has his advanced scentwork titles.
Thank you so much!

ParticipantI have two questions, for the set point should both heights be the same?
I just got finished watching the video from the live class and as you were talking about running off puppies and Tracy you said to ask questions here so here goes! My 8 month old lab puppy is Terrible about taking things off of counters, tables, shelves etc. and running with them. I know not to chase him but if he has a remote control, glasses or a KNIFE I have to get it from him ASAP! So two issues actually counter, table, whatever surfing and running off playing keep away with everything. Any suggestions appreciated!

ParticipantThank you! I have another question regarding the resilience walk. When doing this I am assuming I am not asking for loose leash walking or anything like that. We are working on loose leash walking but I’m thinking that should be done separately? And one day it will all come together is what I’m thinking. Thanks!

ParticipantI have a question about the first game. Driving ahead. Normally Rev loves to play and tug but he is teething. I noticed that he is not playing with much gusto. I imagine it’s not comfortable right now. Should I just continue and play gently, he will play just not as usual, or not play this game right now?
