Okay so lets try to upload the prop game this time… “The fourth video is the Prop game. This is a tough one for JJ. I am not sure that she has this down enough to try to point and toe point at it. Maybe I need to return to ground level for this. JJ does not seem to understand what I want of her with this. I will be happy to get your feedback here.” https://youtu.be/PpfL44J1cCo

Goat trick #1 redo. This time I tried to be more coordinated with the steps of the game. Let me know what you think. https://youtu.be/4AcKUABxXZA

For Goat trick #2 I did two different surfaces. I found that using food to get her on the large wobble board was a better scenario than starting with the toy. She will typically do anything for food. She used the egg to climb on even as a much younger puppy. I was not sure how she would do reintroducing it, but I was impressed that she did not seem nervous. https://youtu.be/eV-zm31J1hY

We started goat trick #3 on a low plank. https://youtu.be/mXOSbBO2fdI We also did goat trick #3 on a raised plank. She did not seem to have any additional concerns with this, but I am not sure that she was actually jumping on and off like you wanted in the instructions. I thought she did a good job turning on the plank, but again she definitely had a stronger side. https://youtu.be/feLjkZVt3LY

We did wing wrap foundations in class, but did it more at home. This is with a bigger block. I would have submitted it yesterday, but realized I had it on slo mo and it was ridiculous. Here is another version for you to see. https://youtu.be/TC4v8edUNDc

The last one in this set is hind end awareness backing up. We had worked on this a bit already, but in a shoot and against a wall. Here is two different briefs of this one with a raised platform and the other with a plank. If she is in a huge state of arousal she had a more difficult time remembering where her hind end was going. https://youtu.be/o0huuM5Uw50 (raised surface). https://youtu.be/5A7B9csPydw (Plank/ramp).

We are having a blast working on these things. JJ just completed her Star Puppy and is now also working towards her CGC.

So I did a number of videos to try to do a bit of catch up today with JJ. The first is Resilience game #1conditioning walk. For this I had two different issues with JJ. She was obsessed with looking for food left behind by other trainers in this building. She smelled a cookie under a crate and would not leave that area until she got the treat. Then a bit later in the storage room she was on odor and thought she was doing scent work. She continues on her walk thinking that she was doing scent work, or looking for food morsels. https://youtu.be/IcGeWRCmIdQ
In the second video JJ was working on driving ahead and forward focus. https://youtu.be/aLI9SZ0FROw This was in a close area and a bit difficult. Because of the area so I will try it again in a larger area when I get a chance. The yard is big enough but it is not fenced and JJ seems to think that now is the time to spread her wings and no longer be solid on her recall in the yard.
The third video is another decel and turn. I tried to give JJ enough time to finish eating her treat rather than making her run while chewing. She really seemed to be tighter with food treats than she was with her toy. https://youtu.be/kIlO8H5gbaA
The fourth video is the Prop game. This is a tough one for JJ. I am not sure that she has this down enough to try to point and toe point at it. Maybe I need to return to ground level for this. JJ does not seem to understand what I want of her with this. I will be happy to get your feedback here.
The last video in this cluster is of Goat tricks #1. Here I can tell that my own coordination is failing me. I had a hard time making sure that I had treats when I needed them to keep her on the object and also to reward her for staying on the object. She does wanted off to try to find treats even when they are not offered to her. The area was the same area where she got rewarded a number of times for finding random treats on the floor from others who had trained their dogs in the building. Unfortunately the best area for this would be in the agility building where you probably would not find random treats on the turf, but it is hard to find a time when it is not in use. https://youtu.be/ruKy_uHRzJ0

I agreed about seeing her more successful on one side vs the other. When at home we do not have a ton of room so when I can I will do part of the videos at the club. It is about an hour away so it will not be all of the time.
I will work on decel sooner. I was just trying to get a couple of videos posted and appreciate the feedback on the mechanics. It was cool to see her working between classes with all of the distractions there.
JJ is working on scent work too. I love having versatility dogs. JJ turned 7 mo on Sunday and in two weekends out she completed her novice exteriors, interiors, buried, containers, and over all AKC novice title and also her advanced exteriors, interiors, and containers titles. Many of her Q’s were with placements.
I know the next videos are also short, I did it before, I got your feedback about time…. https://youtu.be/qiFHi_4Sfic. This one is for Blind Cross foundation fun.

So sorry that we have not been able to post anything before today. I was judging scent work at a 4 day cluster this past weekend so no free time for puppy agility. We are back on track today. I am not sure exactly how the posting should work. Do we have a maximum number of times to post in a week or day? I was so excited to get the working live spot. We got tomes adjusted so that I could sign up right when the class opened even though I was in Australia at that time. My friend and dog’s massage therapist Kirstie Dean highly recommended your class. That all being said, We are trying to get back on track with things with JJ. The first clip that i am including is Decel and Turn Foundations. https://youtu.be/ckXZRYW4wgs and https://youtu.be/LW5-rdH20OI
