Yeah, I really don’t like telling ANY of my dogs that they’re wrong, mostly I just laugh at them. AND then try and figure out what I did wrong

Before I added the uprights to the RC’s, Sid would stand on his prop and pivot ON it. So changed out the prop making it smaller at first. Little booger could still pivot! Even on very little things. So I dragged out a jump, we worked on very short jumps-8 inches and we lost the pivot. I didn’t want to work him very long on jumps so I took the bar away and he liked that better with the prop! No more pivots, or spins.

Forehead slam for using the word GO all the time……

VBG, yeahhhhh 6-8 inches of snow, with ice, probably not good for running on. Well, maybe for a second……. Face plant……

It NEVER occurred to me about the hand placement for his backup que! I will definitely try it AND his BIG wobble board came in, so far only three feet on it, but the towels around it is a great suggestion! It’s much higher than the baby one. Towels will be perfect

He loves to play with his toys, I just wish he didn’t hit himself in the head with some of them.

Yeah my timing was off on the sends sometimes, but he tries so hard! He just makes me laugh

I tried hard to watch my timing on the rears.

And he definitely read it better if I gave him more information by using my hand to indicate the prop. He’s just so happy to go out and play!

I have much to learn! THANK you! Everything you say makes perfect sense, I rewatch the video and I can go “OH yeah”. I see it. Makes a huge difference

Shoot on the resilience game I was supposed to be quiet! And I was getting spinning on the RC’s with the prop, so I added the uprights and it seemed to fix it?

I used Susan Garrett’s “Bad Dog Trainers, have High dogs video”. To motive me for getting the out from Sid. If I ever needed a good laugh, I watched that! It’s historical……

LOL! It’s wayyyyyy harder training us than the puppies! He’s so sweet and patient with me. Getting used to using more marker words takes a minute, but he really LOVES the games! I really like pushing the envelope with him, he’s so good at waiting it out.

He’s a fun little guy, my other BC was sooooo serious about the game. I aspire to have a sit, stay like I did with Race. At a practice session another students dog got loose and started running around Race in his sit, stay while I’d lead out to start our run. Race never moved a paw, just watched this dog run circles around him! VBG, that’s my goal….

    Marker words are magic tools!

LOL! Sometimes my cookie drops were MULTIPLE cookies, which lead to a hunt. A barrel is a great idea, I might have one somewhere, operative term “somewhere”. I tried it with a crate standing on end, but I didn’t like using that, just in case it confused his being in one? Need a better object.

AH, a “go for a run with it” is brilliant! I’ll encourage that next time. After our sessions I did lots of toy throws and just played with him, till we BOTH got tired!

He loved the direct stare down before the “bite it” command, I laugh at him a lot! He’s a fun boy, definitely a Sid……

I have a tug toy with a ball on the end of it, but it always looks like he’s gonna knock himself out when he plays with it!

VBG! Yeah, he offers to back up onto ALL the objects behind him! I think he’d make a great trick dawg!
THAT was an excellent catch, I didn’t notice him leaving the sit so quickly. Almost no sit sit there. Should I reward him while I’m holding his collar? With treats?
Sitting against the wall will definitely set him up for success. I knew he was a righty, lefts are more challenging for him.
Yeah, I noticed the startled response, but took me two tries. Sometimes I’m slow on the pick up……. Will keep the toy on the ground! THANK you!

I tend to be too quick on the draw with the tug toy and yanking it away. Doesn’t give him a good opportunity for tugging

I need a bigger wobble board! THANK you so much
