ParticipantDefinitely 4o for the teeter. (I have seen little dogs do this well and it is so cool!) I teach the contacts for the Aframe and dogwalk using the box game. In case you call it something else….it is a box maybe only 4 inches tall – The dog runs toward the box, across the top – maybe only a foot long – and then stops in the 2020 position. Amazing how they recognize what they are supposed to do on the real thing. But I’m wondering if that will be confusing with the 4o for the teeter.

ParticipantHe is 8 pounds. I have everything for the games except an actual teeter. I bought a teeter from someone else used so I will probably not have it until it’s safe to travel.

ParticipantCan dogs figure out the difference between doing a 2020 on the dogwalk and this different end behavior on the teeter? We’re not there yet but I wondering if dogs figure it out from context or will I need to help my dog figure out the difference? If so, how? Would it be better to teach all 4 on the board on the dogwalk? This is our first contact training so I am trying to anticipate future questions. BTW I love the way teeter issues are broken done into so many games addressing each behavior.

ParticipantThe board for the mini-teeter is 4-feet- long? Most of the mini-teeters I have found seem to be longer. I guess there is math to figure out what the fulcrum would be for a 4 foot board. AGILITY HUSBAND!
