ParticipantWe did some run away with the toy tonight at my lesson. Here’s a couple videos.
She has never been a great tugger, so I use a food pouch a lot for rewards.

ParticipantI definitely think Fiona would enjoy it if I was more engaging when we are working. I tend to be more serious when I am training, since I am concentrating a lot. I will work on being more upbeat and interactive when we train.
The feedback about my arm is super helpful. I had been using my arm more since she seemed to be running by some jumps, and based on what you are saying I could have been causing the problem to begin with. Thank you for the insight!
Fiona’s favorite thing in world is Fast CAT. Her second favorite thing is visiting with her favorite people ( my mom, nephew, my agility instructor). We have used permission to visit as a reward in agility and it has seemed to help some.
Here are a couple videos of Fiona having fun.

https://youtu.be/Kl-R8WFwuM8For rewards, I use a lot of string cheese which she really loves. I have also used baby food, sardines, canned dog food, freeze dried meats, pot roast, rotisserie chicken, hotdogs and cold cuts. She likes all of those a lot, but I haven’t found anything she is over the moon for.
I will work on starting super bowls. Should I be more enthusiastic when she makes eye contact as you mentioned with doing find my face?
Thank you!

ParticipantAssignment #3 Relaxation Conditioning
This was our second time practicing this.
I have a 16 week old puppy, is this something I can start with him? Are there any adjustments you would recommend when introducing this to a puppy?
I will see if I can get some video on Wednesday of Fiona and I training. I will also look to see if I have some videos of us training to post.
Thank you!

ParticipantIt does make sense. I appreciate the feedback. I will follow up with my instructor on improving the timing of my turn cues. Thank you!
