ParticipantHere you go. I tried using a closed container to reward from like you suggested but Magic was still to obsessed with it. I included a play video too. I also noticed that I am still stoping at the beginning of the threadle. I will work on that.

ParticipantHi Jordan. The main description of what we did is in 3.0. One question, was I using my “off arm” correctly?

ParticipantHi Jordan! Here are three videos from today’s training. In Video 2.0 I tried your suggestion of taking a small step towards her and not using my hand to “push” her over the jump and it started to work. In Video 2.1 and 2.2 you can start to see her looking for the jump and not at my hand! Also in Video 2.1, I notice that when I come around the jump wing, I lean my outside shoulder back. Is that okay? Bad habit? I also notice that in between the exercise she gets distracted with sniffing and gets stuck. Beagles . . . am I right!!!!! Should I use “touch” every time to get her back on track? Should I think of another word to get her to where she knows she is about to do another exercise? What other techniques could I use to keep her attention? Thanks for all the help.

ParticipantHi Jordan. I have one more question. Why (in the first video) do you think she turned at the last second and jumped on the obvious side of the jump instead of the non-obvious?
