ParticipantWe are not doing many. This is actually the first time we have done anything since the last video. I figure once every week or two at this point is plenty.
Thanks!

ParticipantMaybe I solved my own problem. Does this look OK?

ParticipantI’m concerned that if I just use a Cato board to teach angle and height I will be encouraging Know Me to hit low since it’s much shorter than the board you are using. I also have a Klimb with traction on it, but it also seems a bit smaller than what you are using. Would this be a problem?

ParticipantPasting the link didn’t work either. But I have seen dogs being caught in lanes, so I think I see what you mean. I’ll work on it! Thanks

ParticipantHere is today’s ball over jump with counter movement. He thought it was so much fun!

ParticipantThanks!

ParticipantI don’t have the PVC thing that looks kind of like a cavaletti. I am sure I can improvise, but also I figure I will eventually need it. Do you have the dimensions so that I can build one? Thanks!

ParticipantI’m doing it again…
Here’s a video from Know Me in my puppy class pivoting on a perch. Not exactly the same, but I think close enough? He was still tripping over his own feet when I shot it, he’s a bit more coordinated now (about two weeks later)

ParticipantWe do well because we have a great teacher 🙂
I will add the running away when I can work him at the barn with a little more room this week.
Thanks!

ParticipantI also realized that sometimes I asked him to grab the tug ‘ting’ or ‘get it’ and sometimes I asked him to drop the ball ‘kitos’, but that did not seem to confuse him. Blah! He does know all those words, but still…

ParticipantSorry if I post too many videos… But it’s all new and I am SO worried that I am going to do something wrong 🙂
Here is what we came up with for retrieving over a jump since I try to discourage my dogs from jumping with a tug in their mouth. I found a little notch in my deck that held the ball nicely, since I didn’t want it to roll all over when tossed. I hope that’s OK.
One time he dropped it before I asked him to, I kept it cheerful, but did not let him tug.

ParticipantYeah, he’s at the stage of leg growth that when he tries to turn and run at the same time he can’t quite stay upright 😂
We do bendy work on the flat for agility so I’m not too worried about it all coming together
Thanks!

ParticipantA little more turn work. He’s getting the hang of it, I think!

ParticipantI’m pretty sure you guys are scheming 😂
