ParticipantSqueaky doing baby goat tricks. I have put just about everything in my house into their pen (that he can reach), but found something he had not seen. And I know, I totally missed the first opportunities. Then I turned my brain on and remembered I knew how to shape.
For future reference, sliced swiss chesse is very difficult to handle.

ParticipantShe is doing great on the easier sends with the cone, so happy with that commitment. I need to do some proofing on the discrimination.
Still struggling on the harder angles and WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME, I am trying so hard not to make it easier, but clearly from the video, I am doing that. I am going to work on building that foundation a little more for the harder angles.
I only had a couple of reps on the other side because the session was starting to feel long. um, yes Jerri, it was.
I just want to keep making it fun for her. Can we add a 2nd jump at the easier angles? I haven’t looked at lesson 3 or 4 yet, maybe it is there.

ParticipantJordan-Jackie is NOT a fan of me holding her chest and she doesn’t wear a collar (and if she did, she wouldn’t want me holding it) for working on ‘tunnel tunnel tunnel’. I’ve been putting her in a sit stay which is fine, but not great. Any other ideas?

ParticipantWe made some progress! varying the cone and sit stays is certainly helping keep her enthusiasm at appropriate levels.
I left in the weaves at the beginning because 1. how hilarious is she about being excited to work? 2. look at that course correction on the entry!
The rest of it was one session, edited out setups, cone moving etc, but that is every rep.
She wants to know whats next!
Also hilarious is Meisje just wandering around in the background not at all interested in working for kibble.

ParticipantAlrighty! Took us some time, but we made some progress. I did use the cone some and sit stay some. I would say the sit stay is probably the most demotivating thing Jackie has experienced (still minor, but good to note). She was much happier with the cone, just less accurate.
This is the full session just edited again for chewing and Setup.
Where shall we go from here?

ParticipantProgress. Video looks edited, but it was one session I just pulled out the incredibly slow eating and set up. I train with kibble at home and she literally chews each piece. Weirdo.
Did a session after this and it was even better.

ParticipantAlrighty-Here goes.
Prior to this video I had to move back the cone 3 times. Finally got a good one in the end. I kept forgetting to send her over the jump. Thank goodness for video.
