Since you mentioned balancing out some GO!s with the Wraps, I set up your “GO!” Exercise. That was illuminating. (I got Nuptse to begin listening to the verbal cue!)

Hi, Tracy,
We redid the rouund the Tunnel Circle. This time, changtse did not run around the other end of the tunnel to meet me..the reason for my waiting for her to turn her head before I began “running”. I am finding it daunting to run around the tunnel circle trying to maintain connection and not fall down! Perhaps,I should just run a straight line 1st while maintaining connection with Changtse and Toy in outside hand.

Hi, Tracy,
The Shadow Handling is definitely hard!!! I couldn’t keep connection nor run very far arouund the tunnels before Changtse caught me and then I didn’t realize that we should keep going around!!! You did a great job maintaining conncection and running! Next time, I am going to run without so many hats and jackets on!

The Set point went well. Changtse was paying attention with good sit/stays. I am thinking that I should have done this game 2nd and the Directionals out of the tunnel first. Chnagtse’s interest in the tunnel game was not there!

We went to Kim’s yesterday and combined some distraction work along with the Around the Clock Exercise
at the starting level. Changtse is beginning to be able to work in other places as well as with some dog distractions.
We did not have much time but then less is more! sometimes! ( we had to get to our nosework class!)

Thanks for last night’s chat.
Today, we worked the Switch away from jump to tunnel, then tunnel to jump., also the backside of the jump somewhat. From there we tried some of the super combo. Changtse was HOT!…very fun!!
