    Hi, Tracy,
Did not figure out how to add motion, tried to have feet pointing forward.

    Hi, Tracy,
We had to lay low due to slippery conditions!!! So now chose to work on switch away without sliding!
On the 2nd clip, guess that I shouldhave rewarded for her almost correct choice.

    Good snowy morning!!!
Thanks for writing to keep moving now.
Our ground was not conducive to wrapping yesterday nor running fast so tried to stick to meandering around the clock. (Am thrilled with Changtse’s seeming to be enjoying all these games.) The ball on a string, which Rachel Sanders emphasized, is working well. If she decides to play keep away, I walk up to the end of the string. Pick it up and walk with the loose line up to Changtse. I can approach her if she is into the ball and doesn’t care about me. Then I pat her on the sides, letting her know that I am not there to take away the ball. We walk together and then she relaxes and we return to the agility game. The next time I toss the ball, she mostly retrieves it and i treat her big time!

    Hi, Tracy,
Thanks for pointing out Changste’s sliding around the wrap wing.
We went to Kim’s on Monday. Worked on Around the Clock verbals.
Changtse & I flunked. Meanwhile Kim and Sly were perfect!!! So, went home with our tails between our legs!! Yesterday morning set up a chair and worked either the tunnel or the jump. Then in the afternoon after hiking, we returned to work the verbals around the clock. This seems to be the most important part of this discrimination training, ie, getting to recognize the verbal for each obstacle. Am glad that Kim set up this exercise. By the end of this video,Changtse is making progress. Now, at least, she rocognizes that she is not sure that she has chosen correctly. So listening to your advice to throw the reward early to help the dog paid off.

    Hi, Tracy,
We boned up on “Strike A Pose”. It is such a great introduction to the come in-go out maneuver. We need to just keep reviewing it until Changtse is solid in her understanding of it.

    Hi, Tracy,
In this session, found more success when I didn’t move much for the push. We need a lot more training with the serp handling cues! Will visit the Say What sessions on these! What is nice is that Changtse is a willing participant when the ball is invalved. Want to get better with the flirt pole so that I can use that, too!

    Hi, Tracy,
We attempted Game 3. Changtse isn’t used to the serp jump in this setup so made the jump more friendly to her.

    Hi, Tracy,
Changtse has recovered!! Here is the Verbals video. Sheseems to resodn to “jump” better than “Juuuump!”
probablybecause that is what shelearned in the beginningI am guessing.

    Hi, Tracy,
No Changtse today. She seems too distracted. She was sick yesterday and spent night at the emerg. Vet Hosp, because she vomited and had bloody diarhhea and just wanted to sleep. Now, she is terrribly hungary, but can’t eat much except bland small meals. She says thqt she could eat a horse right now!!! So Nuptse said that he would be glad to run:

The “juuuump” verbal is tough to say! Can’t see saying it in the heat of the battle!!!

    Hi, Tracy,
Adopted your “juuuump” cue and slowed down:

I do not know why she froze on the “Break” cue towards the end. Perhaps, she was saying that she had done enuf for that session? I do respect her criticisms, if only I understood them!!!

    Hi, Tracy,

I do not think that Changtse is happy with sitting on the plank! Looking forward to your assessment.

    Hi, Tracy,

Our first backside zig zags. Need to find a toy to place that is not too high value and not too low value where C does not go directly to the toy! Guess that is my next assignment!!!

Hope that your brain works weekend is going well. Am signing Changtse up to do some nosework due to your zoom brainwork seminar last week.

    Hi, Tracy,
At what stage in the zig zag, will it be appropriate to start Changtse on the front and back slices?

    Hi, Tracy,
Thank you for distinguishing decopression from sleeping/dozing at a trial. I am revisitig my notes for the decompression activities…what a great bit of valuable information!!

Here’s our end of zig zag session. Forgot to complete the turning on of the camera!

Zig Zag in the Dark! 29Nov2022

She did just what you forcasted, ie, run around the jumps for the toy. Am so glad that you said to reward her anyway!!! The distance from end to end of the jump bars is now about 13′. We started at 11′.

    H, tracy,
What is the difference between sleeping between trial runs and decopressing with your relaxation techniques?
Here is our next iteration of the Backside wraps:

Backside Wrap to the RT 28Nov2022

For the last 2 wraps, the question is, “Changtse was tired or I was moving too fast around the wing when she had to sit or both?”
