ParticipantPepper already was rolling over, but Nick’s working on making it more smooth.

ParticipantNick’s working on getting her to hold still longer, but he’s off to a good start.

ParticipantPepper could pretty easily get the first toy into her basket, but adding the second one got to be a challenge because after dropping it in, she’d just want to bring it back to us 😉

ParticipantOk! We’ll try that later- thanks 🙂

ParticipantWe tried doing that- hand over the basket and letting the toy fall in. She was money with that! It’s how to take that next step that we’re stuck on.

ParticipantWe’ve joked a lot about needing to teach Pepper to clean up her toys, so this is the perfect trick! She just has a basket, so we are skipping the lid portion of the trick. We started with the fetch to hand, which Pepper is really good at now. The problem is that when we put the basket in front of us, she still tries to find our hand to drop the toy. I’ll even hide my hand, or put it behind my back, but she still looks for the hand. How do we transition from the hand to the box?

ParticipantNick needs to continue practicing this, but I think he got a pretty good start today. Do you have any feedback for us? Pepper is very treat motivated, and not so much with toys, so it took lots of tries to find one that worked.
