Yea I thought she did a good job with the toy down there. Oh she looked at it. But then she saw the hand and likes hitting it. lol. Oh yea. Have my feet turned to where the reward is.
Here is the Strike a pose part 3, Threadles. In the video I noticed you start out pretty easy. So I did that and kind of moved around to harder. But she sure gets it. She came in and went out by herself to the MM. Now I forgot to add the “check, check,check ” cue. I had a video yesterday and I accidentally deleted it. I like that one better. And I forgot to “catch” and Pizza. I get going and just want to keep going. Need to tug more too. I’ll try to do better at that for her. Yea. That makes sense. More treats, Seperate going the other way,play and keep the treat low and in front of her. Got it.
Okay. Her is another Strike a pose Part 2. Ooo…I think we are getting this. I Got closer to the exit wing, Walked around the jump the long way, used the toy and later in the video I set the toy down. Perch work. Hmmm…didn’t go real great. She don’t like this. She loves her buckets and we’ve been doing the perch a long time. And going around it. But yea. I usually put pressure on her. I supposed I have to go back and have her offer the turning? But she don’t like the pole there. This is our best video. Strike a pose Part 2. Ooo.. this went good. I actually did them earlier when I did the “get outs” but I wasn’t happy with them. I moved before she touched the reinforcement, and was too much in the middle of jump. So it was a long day for Ruby. We had her Obedience class in the morning and I think her brain was fried. LOl. But she did great when I went back down to redue these. I threw in some “Pizza”….too. Hmm.. got to remember to throw in the “catch” too. Here I do it more like the pictures you have. “Get out ” Cue with toy. Oh yea this worked good. She liked the toy and I could reset her. Sometimes she really likes her treats too. I have to be really, really exciting. LOL. It’s hard to do this slow. She wants to run and bounce. Yea. I can see where that would effect a running contact later. We don’t want that. At. 2.12 she had a jump and miss but I think she was going for the treat. The mechanics were hard with the treat and…the toy. Her is the “get out” cue. Hmm…I added the motion too soon I think. This is hard. LOL. Probably need to go back to No motion. And I forgot the Balance reps today. Yesterday I did those. Oh boy…lol. And then I was getting frustrated.

One more time. LOL. lap turn. Better since I make sure I step back. Watching the video. “I” have a harder time on the left side. That is my prosthesis side. Sometimes I’m not as good on that side doing moves. It’s a little harder to bring it back quick enough and not sure if I can bring it forward that fast either. Rewatched the video. Ahh…I see it now. Yea. I am blocking the barrels and I need to keep my dog side arm back so she can see the connection. Got it. Oh. Back and fingers pointing down to her toes. Got it. I’ll keep working on these. Thanks!!
Redid this again. Ha,ha I like this. 🙂 Not too bad for the jumping. I tried real..hard to stay connected and went a little slower. And tried to not wait so long between treats. I didn’t use my arm so much either. She did jump a few times towards the end. Maybe I didn’t stop and treat enough. But I thought I had connection. Maybe not. Hmm…maybe I got going too fast too. Okay. I’ll slow down a little on the Race track, and make sue I stay connected. And more rewards. Got it. Boy. They don’t call it the race track for nothing!!! LOL.
Lap turn. I stopped using my leg to set the turn. Oh geez. Yea. Didn’t know that. And lead her back with the hand. Got it. I think I am just going to toss the cookie with the MCH. That seemed to work the best.

Tandem turn, Baby level. This went better. I’ve done both of these before. Maybe never on the flat though. Maybe just on the jumps. But I don’t really use them on course. I think just in seminars I’ve learned them. But I want to be able to use these with Ruby. Okay. This went better. And then even better when I told myself, “Attention hand and cookie” or whatever I say. She gets ahead of me sometimes. But better when I get here with that Attention hand. Yea. Baby level Lap turns. It starts out okay. And then it kinda broke down when I tried to throw with the NON MCH. That messed me up. lol. And then she starts going for that hand. Maybe not quick enough. I’m not stepping forward after I step back either. Hmmm……lol I did them today. And she still kind of jump up at the NON MCH if I had a treat. Oh and jumps up when I try to turn her.
