ParticipantAccordion. Redue. You asked me how far apart jumps 1 and 2 were. They were at 4 ft. in the first/above video. So I put them at 3 1/2 now. Does that look better? I did mess up. Rep 4 is wrong. I moved the jump then got off where I was and made it, 4 ft. plus 3 ft. It should have been 3 1/3 plus 3. So she adds a stride in there. And then the last rep you see. Is correct. And then she has a longer bounce. I suppose they just learn to make up their mind what feels best. Right?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BUv4TUYe3k

ParticipantDid this too. Wk 7 tunnel threadles. I’m getting a little more mobile. But still don’t want to over do it. This didn’t work too bad. At .08 and .13 I am saying, “kiss, kiss, kiss” and then “tunnel”. Do I need the tunnel cue? Or do I drop it for this? What do you do? K-k-k means take the tunnel? At .30 I just did the k-k-k, no tunnel cue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IDmmMMg09M

ParticipantYay. You were right. Did the accordion. Just had to stand there. Worked good. So, 1st rep, just the ladder grid, 2nd rep I think she added a stride. I put it in slo-motion. I moved it 3 ft. Is she supposed to have a bounce in there yet, or add the stride? ( in the 4th rep, she has a bounce) 5th she adds the stride. Like I said, 4th rep it is in slo- mo, she just has the bounce. But it’s kinda cool. It’s like you can see her thinking. “Woa….I gotta stretch here…” lol. I think it is a little closer than what 2 was. So, are 2 and 4 supposed to have the bounce? Or one stride?
Ha,ha….she did good with the distractions of my neighbors cutting wood. I think she was excited to do something with mama! lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC4-jwksYcgJoni Steinbach
ParticipantYay!! I found something I can do. Standing still. lol. Haven’t felt like doing much of anything. Finally got some spunk back. lol. Lateral lead outs. I did what you said, step away from her laterally and then walked up. Hmm….a few I forgot at the beginning. Maybe those are the ones she missed. She’s focusing on me a lot. (Maybe just because it is taking me awhile with my crutch and getting into position) And I am giving her her release word “break”. Should I be saying “Break-jump”? Or something? Can’t remember what you say in the video. Oh, I did move a little closer about half way through. I suppose the more you do this, the better they understand it. And I did some on the other side of the wing. Those went really good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJmqNQLGD2Q

ParticipantZig,zag with bumps. Ha,ha…maybe I should watch the video again. Not sure if I was doing it right. At .15 I think I get it right and then after that. But then we went to the other side and…not too good. She wouldn’t take that first jump. I think I need to go back to basics here. We haven’t done this for awhile. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXV_9UpEFxQ

ParticipantTransition, redue. I set up the cones this time. I did have bars laying down for the last video, but yea, the cones work better. Tried to decel at the Beggining of the decel area. Pulled her off a few times but then she seemed to pay attention better. Hmmm….late, or forget my did… verbal sometimes. She better with the verbal. It gets pretty good towards the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmCIvMQQ4xc

ParticipantRedue for Get out. Hmm…I thought I posted these. Nope. lol. Added distance with wing farther from jump. Took her a couple to get it. But then she got it. at .24 I threw the toy I thought her was headed towards jump. But, nope. at .32 and .39 I am using the wrong arm. Geez not sure what I am thinking. I think I am thinking, what hand to throw the toy with then. And had the toy in the get, get hand. lol. Other side wasn’t too bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaP47GKCrho

ParticipantThe “Get out” cue. NOt too bad. She really gets it. Trying to watch her head. I think I am still late with the toy. Says to throw it when she looks at jump. Yea, I’m late. Last one I went to a better toy to throw. That went better. I’ll try distance and other side. So nice out. Supposed to be 80 today. Yay!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1yQ3MFCZUw

ParticipantWkw 6 Transitions. Hmm…not too bad. Hard to get in the fast, decel and rotate. It happens so fast. But I feel like I usually got it in. At ,22 she is really wide. Rights seem wider than lefts. And I forget to give her her verbal sometimes. She is better when I give the verbal with the decel. I am trying to get good eye contact. I feel like I am. .40 on the right is nice. Maybe I need to leave and run better. Hmmm…..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ay2j0JUXvUY

ParticipantOh yea. That will work. I can skip to the ones where I can just stand still or less motion and do the other ones later. I print everything out anyways. And then write your feed back on there and redue them with that. I’m still old school. lol
Here is the wk 5 Rear crosses redue. Added the wing before the tunnel and did lots of balance. The first Right RC at .17 was not too good but then at .40 and the last one, they were better. Lefts and post tunnels went good. I suppose I need to go deeper on the tunnel like I did on the last two. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNZw_g3WQAEJoni Steinbach
ParticipantConcept transfer. Rear crosses. Oh fun! She liked this. Any time she can feel the wind in her hair. LOL! She’s doing good on her RC’s. I think I am a little late on the rights. Maybe because I think she is better that way so I am lax. And the left I start my push sooner. But she is doing good on those so I need to push the same. Nice and early. Or…you know, start on her line. Didn’t do the Wing before yet. But the last two are with the wung after jump. Pretty good too! Did these yesterday, day off today. I’m trying to stay caught up here because on May 6 I have to have bunion surgery. (Just want to get the dang thing over with figured now is as a good a time as any) 4-6 wk recovery. Not sure what to expect. Maybe I will be able to stand outside and do some of the stuff. We will see. If not, I will just print off all the games and do them later when I can. “Gotta do, what cha gotta do!” LOL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2EhGC6Vj4E

ParticipantShoulder way back and down. Magnets on finger tips to toes. Got it. Connection, connection! lol.
Yea she gets excited with the tunnel. Have her come in and touch the target again. Got it. Get her excited with tugging. She needs to come to me rather than tunnel. Can take tunnel out a little bit too. Got it! Thanks!Joni Steinbach
ParticipantHa,ha..not the greatest either. I think we just had a bad day. lol. Yea. you are right, she just wants to move when I put my hand out. The motion gets her. At .26 it was better. I didn’t say “Break” and then come I just said come for her release word. Other wise she took the tunnel on release. Some got better towards the end. I do do things thing where I have her come to my hand around the yard. And say “touch it” like when I am in motion too. Lori taught us that. She’s doing pretty good when she is sniffing or quite a ways away. It’s been pretty helpful with distractions. Maybe….she is reading THAT into it when she sees my had. Hmm…don’t know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMvMffrn6fA

ParticipantDiamond. This still isn’t working too good. Why can’t I get her to take that wing? I don’t want to use my arm TOO much do I? I’m trying to have good contact out of the tunnel. Not much is working. Hmmm……..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5u5lulr1rc

ParticipantWhat do you mean by cementing it? And “short to the jump”. Do you mean the one she is coming off of, or the one she is going to? I think I see her closer to the one she just jumped. Do you want the stride right in the middle of the two jumps?
