Just a quick one here. Did the Ladder at 4 ft. How does that look? Not too scrunchy any more? And I put the MM out a little farther. Then the last one I used the toy. Weeee!! Raining today. So edited these from yesterday. The Diamond. These were hard!! She’s quick! lol. She went kind of wide too. But it got better. Played around with where to place the BC a little. I think in the video it seems like you do it farther down from the wing. Closer to the tunnel. Is that right? Will that help her not go so wide? Yea. Gotta really stay connected. That got better too. Oh, and then when I sent to tunnel to BC the wing on the left, she wouldn’t take the wing. So that didn’t work. She kept coming in. Wonder why on that side? Should I bring the wing in more? Go to 4 ft. and yea, use the MM. But then do you mean to use the toy later after she has learned the striding? Or just play with it? It says ,Layer in the speed. Does that mean to use the toy?
Yea she looks ahead when she is in the grid. Okay. So then I won’t worry too much and yea, I don’t want to worry her either, about looking ahead. Oh good idea! I will go back to the Max pup Toy on the ground game. She will love that. Okay. Move MM out more so she can power out of grid and move me to MM. laterally I can be. Thanks!!
Here is the Ladder Grid Adding Challenge. Angled the jumps. Like I said. Stuck with just the MM. Even put some in slow motion for you. lol. She did a good job. I have a question. She is looking at ME a lot. I don’t know if you can tell. I’m waiting her out. Is it like anything else, where you only release them when they are looking forward? Takes her a long time to look forward sometimes. Maybe I need to just do more of the one jump one and “Click” the look to the MM. Oh. Here I am trying to hit the MM so it beeps when she looks at it. Ha,ha! Yea Sport. She’s almost 14 but She’ll never change, she as spunky as the day I got her. She thinks she can still do anything! But she can’t. That’s why she does the Nosework and she LOVES…..that!! Okay. I redid the Proofing serps today will all your suggestions. But here is the Beginning the Ladder grid. This is the first level. Straight in a line. We’ve actually done these a little so I just started her all the way back. I moved them to 3 1/2 ft. 3 seemed to cramped for her. How does this look? I used the MM and yea she was very thoughtful and not over stimulated. Then……..I played with her with the toy awhile. Then…….at .21 she didn’t want the MM, she wanted the toy. lol. So I moved the MM and put the toy down for the target. Then she had trouble staying on a few and yea, I think she was over stimulated. She really flew and flew into the toy. I should probably just use the MM right? Today I did the staggered ones and just used the MM and lots of good treats in between. I have that video too. But I thought she did nice with the balance, rhythm and power. Do you think the 3 1/2 ft is about right? More? less? Actually, the last one is really nice. Not real crazy. Super advanced proofing Serps and threadles. Starting around the clock. Just did a few of these. Not too bad. Added some balance. This is all the farther I got. She knew pretty good. Yea, we did these in the basement when starting out. I need to keep up with them. We’ll work around more yet. Oh, doing my “Check, check, check” verbal. Stay closer to jump so she just fits in and can do around the clock, making it harder for her to come in for the serp closer to the tunnel. K. Got it. Yea..kinda distracted on that side. Hmm….on that side she can maybe see all…the way between the houses up to the front sidewalk. If some thing is going on out from or someone walking by, maybe she can see that. I will check that out. Could be what it was.

Proofing serps and threadles. other side. Had a little more trouble in this side. Boy. you really need to have their attention. .29 she takes the tunnel. Now I think she was looking at it when I release. She was a little distracted here. So I really had to emphasize the come in. and have eye contact. At the end I add motion. 1.13 she grabs my toy. On to the Proofing for Serps and threadles. This is baby level. Wow this went pretty good. When I set this up. She only missed the very first one when we first did it. Don’t have that on video. Then she got it. I wasn’t sure where to put her sometimes had to check my paperwork to make sure. You kinda have to make sure you have eye contact with them before you release. Yea. wow she did so good. I put this on FB. Everyone is like…WOW…..lol. The one she was a little wide, she was feeling the wind in her hair. Ahh…yea. Makes sense. Yes! She was! lol. I love her gusto coming off the wing. lol. Okay slow down my motion a little on the wrap. Oh yea…in the paperwork it says if you can on this one, do a send to the wing so you can get up for the Back side. I’ll try that more. More of a send. And throw the toy to the landing side. Got it. Yea. we want a tight wrap. I have decided to use ‘Push” for the BS wrap and stick with “Back” for the BC serp. That’s going to work good. Maybe even retrain Jedi. So much fun. Thanks Tracy. 🙂
Feel the wind in your hair part 2. Okay. I mixed it all up. Boy did this go good. This is edited, but it all went in this order. She nailed them all. I love this. Connection, my throw was better. They just kept getting better and better. She was really paying attention. Cool! Hmm…just saw…I may have blocked the wing at .30 for that backside. Is that why she went really wide? Left was not her good side so I think I was helping her. But now she gets it. So I need to stop helping her. The LAST on was a backside going left. Add more distance. Okay I did add a few feet here from the last video. I suppose you could do all 3 positions plus the tunnel exit turns. Ahh….I have to watch the video. Did not notice the head in the tunnel vs the go on and turns. Cool!!!
Okay….I get mixed up what I’m doing here. Sometimes I got 2 or more games going. LOL. Here is the Find the jump, super advanced:driving ahead. Said go! sooner. tried to say it before the tunnel. Yea. That works nice. Went real deep into the tunnel to see if she will find the jump to drive ahead. Mixed it up, balance with the tunnel exit with a right cue. Ha,ha the first time was WIDE….then she got better. I think I surprised her and yea, she knew she had to pay attention. Oh crap. Now I see I forgot to do the FC on those. Hmmm…ran faster. Not the first couple ones, later. It kept getting better and better. Even my throw. Yea. It’s hard to connect big time and then throw. But I am getting used to it. It really makes a difference with Ruby. I really connected with Sport and we were a very consistent team. Maybe I got away from it a little with Jedi?? Now I need to go back to it with Ruby. Hmm…maybe I am not connecting enough with Jedi either. Makes me think. She really liked this too!!! Oh. She will be jumping 16″ Me and Bonnie measured her at 15 1/2? 15 3/4? Something like that. Feel the wind in your hair. RC’s and backsides. Wow. On the right side, she just picked that up right away. Didn’t break it down or anything. We just got it here on the first try. Left. I had to break it down a little. Get her to go left with the toy. And the left doesn’t feel at good. I’m not getting that line like in the picture. Should I move the wing farther towards the fence? Would that help. Left are pretty good, but a couple she turn at the last minute. Not smooth like the R’s. Oh boy back side went good too. I’m trying not to block the wing. Maybe I did a little. On the last one, I know I did not block the wing. Had to really think about it though. And I did kinda help her around like you did in the video. Wow cool. Find the jump. Okay. Go verbal sooner, run harder and go to tunnel touch it to see if she will drive ahead to find the jump. Got it. I’m going to redue this today. Oh and mix it up. Do some balance.
