Find the Jump. Mostly all position 3. She likes that. Really got some distance tward the end. I even had to move the wing over so I could go over even farther. Look at that ground speed!!! lol!!! At one point I had to find a better toy I could throw. That worked really good. Hmmm….can’t remember why I went back to the light one. Oh well. They still worked pretty good. Still saying the “Yea”. These are from yesterday. today I did the Feel the wind in your hair part 3 and I mostly said “get it” really had to think about it. I don’t know how…I got away from that. Move the wings closer. Yea. much harder when they are closer did it a little today. And…when I use 4 wings. Do I have to start up by the 4th wing? Or start at 3?
Find the jump!! Did level 1-2 and at the end here there is one or two with some distance. Thought this went pretty good too. She really barreling out of that tunnel. Geez!! I’m saying the “Go,go,go…” which is nice but not sure if I just started doing the YEA……with Ruby? I know I say “get it” with Jedi. Becasue I throw the toy a lot for him. And of course we had to be show offs and do the advanced Slice jump foundations. lol. She picked this up pretty quick too. She did miss maybe two at the beginning before I got the camera rolling. But I kinda helped her more and then on these I finally got farther away. I see the goal is to get all the way up to the last jump. I’ll try that. Wow she read this good. Ooo…I did the Send and serp’s today and turned the jump a little. She did really good. I think a light bulb went off and she came in on everyone, every side. Okay yea.It is not a Dig-dig-dig it is a soft left or right. I think I over tend to use the verbal D-d-d….I need to stick to using it for take the jump come back to me. It a good tool. I don’t want to mess that up. Thanks for noticing that. Oh, I did use a toy. If I use a toy, should I “click” the commitment to the jump?
Okay did the Slice jump foundations. Baby level. Ooo…she caught on quick. She really reads me and I think she is really starting to read the off arm. This was fun!! I switched side too. And the next level. Moved the barrel in so she had to do a back side kinda. That went pretty good too. But then I switched sides. Not too good. Did I have the MM in the wrong place? Maybe I need it so she don’t see it. Or was I blocking her? The couple she gets it’s looks like I am out of her way better. Oh the seminar went pretty good. She rocked most of the stuff like her tunnels and wraps!! Really good. She did leave me a few times to visit People. It was hard because everyone was in the ring, so we could spread out. Along the wall. I did go and get her though. I supposed I should have waited till she looked and came back. Or see if she would do that anyways. But then i noticed other pups had thier leashes on so I used my long line that I brought along and then it went really good. She did a good job. And she had to kennel by herself in the one room and she did really good. Hardly a peep. So that was kind of a test too. So glad we went. 🙂

Oh. I’m kind of excited, but nervous too. Ruby has her first seminar tomorrow. I got into a puppy/foundation one at Agile Canines. Another popular place up here. It is with Lori Micheals. Should be fun. I think it is just easy stuff like the going around wings and usual foundation stuff. But it will be good for her with the distractions. We can see how we are with that. I’m a little nervous that she will leave me. But lately, if she does leave me like at Bonnies, or in the yard, I can always get her back. I carry a squeaky toy too. I’ll have to be extra fun and exciting. Not going to know unless you try. I think Obedience is helping a lot. She is around 8 other dogs. So……. Wish us luck!!

But didn’t quite go to the middle. Ended on that. I think she gets this now and knows she can go around no matter where I am. And then I supposed really knowing the verbal will come in time. Advanced Minny, pinny. Turning away, redue. YES!! it worked! Started with the left. That went good. The did the right starting with the treat and turning her right. She picked it up quick. Gotta remember that. Do a little warm up on the right. Great!! Then she really liked it. She keeps doing it herself though. And….then it all fell apart. Advanced Minny pinny turning away. I did all those other ones before. And stood way out like the video. She don’t want to turn away from me. Like I said. We still have trouble turning away with the tunnel too. At that one point, she doesn’t even want to face the jump. I didn’t want to fail too much so I threw in some with me in the inside. And….then I went to the left side the last one was perfect! lol. But I stopped there. Oh for sure you will have to meet Ruby sometime. I think she’s about as big as she is going to get. Me and Bonnie measured her at 15 1/2 or 3/4 the other day. She will be jumping 16″. Even if she grows a little. She is right in the middle of the 16″ group. So, actually, that’s good. I’ll keep my eye out for seminars. They are hard to get in at OTR sometimes because they take their students first though. But a lot of times I’ve gotten in off the wait list. L & R minny pinny proofing Baby level. his went really good. We’ve been doing these outside (raining out now). Doing them for the tunnel exit game. But this is the first time I had NO motion. Lay a leash on the ground. Oh that would work! Markers like that help me a lot. Yea. I think she’s getting to know the game. “She is figuring out that she needs to listen for the turning cues.” Hmmm…..Yea…..I think she is. Nice! Hey. I just saw you are coming to Minnesota. Jedi is still doing some rehab, otherwise I would have maybe tried to get in. Or in on the waitlist. He’s not ready yet though. It would be fun if I could get in on one sometime when Ruby gets older too. Thanks!
I switched it around. Just kind of had some fun here. She loved it. On the first one the left was not too good. She went into la,la land. Who knows?? It does NOT have the wing. But it was just that one then they got better. And she did the right really good. Even though it DID have the wing. Hmm….got a little jump out of the tunnel on about the third one. I got my arm up. And…I was just trying to get there not thinking about my arm!! LOL! Oh. She really hit the tunnel nice on these. And I like the way on some of the wing on the go-go.go, she is really turning tight and burning up the turf. I think part of it is me getting out of there to get where I have to be. Yea. She’s getting pretty good on her Race track part. She knows what she is doing. Yay! Better turning to the Right. But yea, Might be because there is no wing out there or both. And definatley goes out farther on the left turn. Okay. I’ll try to be super early with my verbal going left. Yea. She probably don’t know if it is a go,go! or a left that way. Hmmm….could I set this up so the right turn has the Go, go,go wing out there? Wonder if that would work. I think you could. Might try it. Oh, If I put the wings on the other side. The right turn would have the wing. I think……lol. Thanks!!
Missing the tunnel Go do little tricks in front of the distraction. Oh I can do that. Good Idea. I usually just give her her “leave it.” And try to get her back. I will go do the tricks. I could even ask my neighbor to just stand there or something. They are really nice. 🙂 Oh and I was going to turn this whole thing around too. Put the wings on the other side. See what happens. Maybe I’ll do that today. 🙂 Thanks!! But yea. Gotta remember the connection.
