    Hi Tracy!
Today practice. Charlie full of energy from 6AM till 8AM. By the time I come home from work to lunch break he is not at his peak. But it is what it is. We try our best.
When I see he is getting tired – I quit ( hopefully early enough)
    1st try Backside wrap

    Reverse Retrieve.
Tracy, when you saying Charlie has great self control, that’s not true. He has no drive to a dead toy. Moving toy – Yes! Laying down – no interest. It will change. I am not worry.
I was moving away too early a few times, before his commitment to the toy.

    Hi Tracy!
Left and Right I use a lot – this for 180 degree turns.
Tide means turn tide, you are coming back to me.
I could work on choosing another word to indicate tide turn in different directions. Thank you!

For our pre-Games I used a peace of paper in my hand. I still have it on video. But we did not practice that for month or more. That is easy to fix!

    Hi Tracy,
I use “Tide Left” and “Tide right” for wraps
    I use “Push” for Backsides
I was always wondering, when we teaching our young dogs to wrap the cone
is that foundation of Wrap or Backside jump?
I assume for Wraps, but it looks like Backside to me.
So I do not use verbal, since confused which one is correct one 🙂
I also generally BAD with Verbals. It is so much to do on course running a dog!
Stay connected, know your line, show the dog line from possibly ahead, remember the course. Pronouncing the verbals at correct time is adding extra effort, that I am struggling with.
That means – I need to practice more. Having a puppy and no speed just yet with simple exercises IS the perfect way to start!
