Tracy – thank you so much for the feedback. Tugging has been a challenge for us – she will play with the toy – follow, maybe chew a little but its rare that I get good tug. I know that her back molars are coming in- so I have not pushed it – but getting concerned that I am not making great progress with it either. After a few tries – I find she will come out of the crate the 1st and sometimes 2nd time and go for the toy – (No leash required) we have engagement. But anymore than that and she says no toy – just going to sniff, which is where the leash started coming in. So cutting our total sessions shorter – and doing more tug like activity the 1st time, she will also tug at the end of 1st session but after that runs to her crate.
Here is our 1st session from yesterday – I thought the tug went good and I included the begin and end tug. It was more value for prop and I thought I tried some sends but didn’t seam like it when I looked at it.

Our 2nd skill was tunnels – but it was a bit of a mess.
This was our 1st try at ladder. This was our 3rd skill we were working yesterday(she had rest breaks while I worked the older dogs). But I see her lose interest and thought that maybe I try just 2 at a time, thoughts?

Tonight we worked ring wraps part 3 – I thought she rocked it. I am saying “Yes” should I change that to snacks? or something else since I am using food

we also worked tunnels and they went much better. I had bought a manners minder when Nicki was a puppy and never opened the box – so it needed a new battery 🙂 So got that working and did a short session on intro to it and she seemed to catch on quickly.

    – this is Allie with the upright that I added some distance (did not have time to upload before vacation)

    – this is her with a bigger object

This was goat games – part 2

(part 1 did not get a video but I thought it went well)

We had a try at more baby retrieve and it did not go well. I am sure I was just not interesting enough – she started off with interest but then quit (a while later) – finally got a little more interest in the toy

    This was a day later
https://youtu.be/GgDUaCxd03I – it went a lot better, but I could really use help here I really need a retrieve for her field work.

Backing – I was trying not to lure her back – but Somehow we got all messed up – I finally went to the back with V legs. I was really happy with her tug at the start.

I decided to try the baby retrieve tonight as well. We were working in the bathroom, not sure the video angle is the best – I will try to work that. She is bringing it back towards me, but I have trouble getting her to tug when she comes back. (She is still teething, but will tug sometimes). I edited out the knock over the camera part, I hope anyway. In the end she liked what I had propped up the phone with better than the toy. I was not sure if I should have insisted that she play with “The toy” or if any of them was ok.
