I struggled with this and when I look back at the video I can see I was hurried with flinging arms, but I could not get the wrap. And then Max and I are getting frustrated with each other so I just stopped. Hopefully we’ll get the rest of it done this week.

    Ladder 2
I am not sure this spacing is correct for Max. I have the jumps 4’ apart then add the 3 to end jump. I got bounces then bounce 1 stride then bounce 2 strides.

I have a Teeter course question. I am using a lowered teeter with Max. He is back to happily running over it. I think because at LUDS they use a table and pads, so the end of the teeter is high and you have to stop or fall, it confused Max. Is your teeter class lowered or does it use tables (which I don’t have) Thanks Diane. Saving my pennies so we can take Max Pup 3. We have learned so much and everyone is impressed with Max. I cannot thank you enough. Also,
do you ever do privates? Thanks

Lateral lead out I think this went very well. The hardest part is to remember to walk in the L shape away from the dog and then towards the jump Max only had one boo-boo and that was when I meant to do a throwback. I was standing in the middle of the bar, but I did a front cross instead so that blocked the bar and Max went around the wing.

Backside challenges. This did not go super well. I obviously am having problems with connection and timing. I’ll get your feedback and do it again.

Tunnel Threadles, when I finally remembered to use my wrap cue on the wing, he got it! And now we are caught up!

This is long, I can cut it down more if needed. I think Max is doing well, I am not on my A game but he picks up the slack.

We did the Decel again. I varied where I dlowrd down and turned, but after looking at the video, I don’t think that was what I was supposed to do. I am having an off day!

Aghhh, It just doesn’t feel right. This is where I would like an in person lesson.

Mission transition Decel. Our second time doing this, I struggled with the mechanics, turning to the right for some reason. Also, he is so fast and I am used to having to run up to the jump with my terriers, sending from far away and turning is a new skill for me. I did a tandem turn first time to the right and then I got it straightened out and did front crosses. I’m sorry these last two videos are so noisy, but my husband was being a good guy and blowing all the leaves away from our fence so we don’t get any snakes in the yard.

Zig zag, he did great so I did not ask for a lot of repetitions. This is short and sweet.

No matter what I do, he gets it. I have problems getting to where I need to be. He accelerates really fast.

Our second time Layering and first time with tunnel open. Max is better than my senior dog!! Really happy with this boy.

It was not worried before I moved the Teeter. I will do fewer reps with bigger rewards and move backwards. He is worried in class also in class they do not have their teeter lowered like mine, it’s full height and they have tables underneath it, so I assume it does translate to my lower teeter. It’s 80° and sunny and it is hot for little Max. We struggle with the rear cross I need to practice that more. Here is our first cross out of the tunnel.
