Hello! We did the teeter again – this was our home teeter so I added a little drop to it!
We did the wraps sequence as well. I wasn’t sure what height to use. He’s 3 and has been struggling with bars so I decided to use his regular jump height (20”) and see what happened!

    Thank you!

Yes! We love our NoLa friends!

We did lots today – teeter, lazy game 2/3, and the wing wrap exercise. But he was so great and got everything first try so the video is short. I tested some toy things (had the toy on the ground for one rep) and he seemed to do great with that as well!

Lol yes it is Jamie! We live close to New Orleans now!

Our equipment is up for a few days while they mow the field but I set up 3 jumps and worked on increasing distance for that version of the lazy game. He showed a little of the toy fixation in this one. He didn’t just go for it but he just froze and didn’t really try things (I think because he knows he can’t get the toy but also he can’t think about anything else)
I wonder if I should’ve gotten the food back out to encourage some thought?

    Thanks!

We did both games again today! I used hotdog but he is still a bit nervous about the teeter. He can do just the down plank and the whole dogwalk no problem, so not sure why he’s lacking confidence on the teeter?
The lazy game seemed to go great!

    Thanks!

Very interesting about the nose touch! I was mostly just trying to get him to think about something aside from the toy for a second lol.
We tried again with better food and that seemed to work! And we tried the mountain climber – it took a little work to get him all the way to the top but he did get there, I think he needs some more confidence with it though.

    Thanks!

    Hello!
A short video because I stopped banana-ing and he was successful!

Thank you SO much for all your help in this class! I feel like he (and our working relationship) has improved so so much from that first session with so much frustration! And he has some cool new agility skills!

We will see you in max pup 3!

    Thanks again!!

    Hello!
We did a short session before it starts raining again! I tried with a rolled mat for the line and he did great off my right and got it first try but struggled off my left (which is also the side he struggled with the dw platform today – not sure if that’s related). He also seems to hamster wheel a little when he’s wrong. Like he does it wrong once and then just keeps doing it wrong until I make a dramatic change.

    Thank you!!

    Hi!
    Yes I’m on an iPhone!

Still struggling a little with the backsides. I worked Lad first and I think that broke Zest’s brain a little. I tried to parallel his line and really push him to the back and he could (only) get it when I did that, but in reality I know I will likely not always (mostly never) be there to do that so I’d like it to be a little more independent so I don’t have to be there to shape his line.

    Thanks!

We did some experimenting today lol. Tried food + toy and got no barking. He got better about looking for the food when I used the right word. Added some motion and tried moving the toy to the takeoff side.

    Thank you!

Perfect – thank you so much!!

Yes the barking seems to only be for food. He seems to get frustrated working for food vs the toy. Not sure why?
Another issue we have is when there’s a toy on the ground he seems to always have at least half his brain on the toy and is just guessing until I release him to it. I’m not really sure how to get him to think in those situations.

We did the serps and fronts today.

    Thanks!

Looks like it’s about an hour and a half from me so not too far! That would be amazing!!! Thank you!!!

Here’s our next attempt from before it started raining today. He does really struggle with thinking when there’s a toy on the ground. He did eventually start taking the jump but it is hard for him so I did a few with the toy in my hand!

    Thanks!
