ParticipantHello!
We worked on teeters again tonight. I just used a bowl as a target which seemed to work but I think I inadvertently taught him to touch it with his front foot instead of his nose. Should I teach a nose target/chin rest on an object first and then add it to the teeter or is just having the bowl okay?
Here’s the video!

ParticipantWe just did teeters tonight! He’s a good boy and my mechanics were… all over the place lol. I didn’t really know what I wanted and rewarded a lot of things lol. But I think the goal is to reward a 2 on 2 off? So that’s what I ended up going for in the end
Thanks!

ParticipantSo sorry we’ve been traveling some! But we’re back now and did some more teeters and threadle wraps!
Thanks!

ParticipantWe added the wing wrap and that went well! We haven’t had access to other teeters but we tried the other teeter game!
Thanks!

ParticipantHello!
We switched to the commitment exercise so I didn’t have to pull the tunnel bags back out lol. My brain struggled a little but he was a good boy! Thanks!

ParticipantHe did the blind exercise perfectly so we tried fronts tonight! I tried both with the toy in my pocket and in my hands and I don’t think it made a huge difference!
I think I was late every time and he took the bar lol. Thanks!

ParticipantOkay we tried again and he was great with the middle jump! But he did struggle with the one on the right. He got there though!
I was curious about how he is working for the toy vs food so I did food yesterday and toy today and I do wonder if the struggle with the last jump is because of the toy?
Thanks!

ParticipantHello!
Thank you, those screenshots helped! We did have a perfect rep first try on that the other day but apparently I accidentally deleted the video! So we tried the other direction today.
Thank you!

ParticipantHello!
We switched back to sequencing today. I tried some blinds and he struggled with keeping the bars up. I also kept spinning and I’m not sure why lol.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello!
We did the sequence and teeters tonight!
I don’t think my teeter food was good enough tonight so I’ll up the game next time. But he didn’t fly off! He was good with the sequence wrapping right but struggled with bars when we changed direction.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello!
We switched back to teeter this evening. When I added motion the first time I think it was too exciting and he just kept going off the end. But after that he was good! This was a different teeter than we have at home, but he tried! Thanks!

ParticipantHello! It was hot and getting dark this evening so we just went one way and he struggled a bit. I added running but it seemed to cause more bars. I didn’t stop him for them and he did finally get it on the last attempt!
Thanks!

ParticipantHello! We did the teeter again – this was our home teeter so I added a little drop to it!
We did the wraps sequence as well. I wasn’t sure what height to use. He’s 3 and has been struggling with bars so I decided to use his regular jump height (20”) and see what happened!Thank you!
