ParticipantHello!
We tried again this morning. I cheated a little and had the favorite toy as the one I threw lol but he seemed to get it pretty well!
Thank you!

ParticipantOkay we did both games today!
He has a really hard time working when he knows the toy is on the ground somewhere else.
Thank you!

ParticipantHello! Today we worked on the RC/getting close game you posted earlier!
I only have one set of wings here but I can use a cone? Or I’ll have a lot more equipment when I get back to Alabama in a couple days!
Thanks!

ParticipantWe haven’t tried the get close game yet but did try the rear cross again and he didn’t try to go around at all and once turned the correct direction without circling!
Thank you!

ParticipantIt went a little better today! He ran around some but mostly did take the jump. I did have trouble getting him to read the cross and turn the correct way after the jump though.
Thanks!

ParticipantThank you! We tried again with more distance. He seemed to get it well off my right side but struggled a little with the left.
Thanks!!

ParticipantHello! I moved the setup from the side yard to the back and I think that worked a lot better.
We tried the rear crosses today and had some trouble. If I threw it too soon he’d run around but if I waited I’d get a lot of head checks.Thank you!

ParticipantWe tried again today! I angled the set up. a bit to try to avoid the plastic cover but realized when I was editing that I just turned instead of doing the front. I think I still threw it a bit late a couple of the times but he was good about giving it back!
Thanks!

ParticipantThank you! We added running and a bar on the jump. I worry about running because sometimes me running does seem to cause him to take bars but I think he did okay here? I think in the previous video I also had worked my other dog first so that could be part of the increase in arousal? I think you can even hear Lad barking in the house in the background of that one. He was in the car for this session so either he wasn’t barking or it’s harder to hear him. And I worked Zest first this time!
Thank you!

ParticipantThank you!
We tried the “wind in your hair” game today and brought the food back into play and it seemed to go better?
Thanks!

ParticipantHello!
We ended up working just on the set point today because I had some trouble getting the toy back from him so I spent some more time on that instead of trying another game! I was having to ask for it 4-5 times before he’d drop it. He did quickly trade for a treat at one point though! Thanks!

ParticipantThank you!!
We added the moving toy today! Thanks!

ParticipantHello!!
Yes he was! A neighbor was walking their dog who jumped into the yard for a minute.I’m feeling good about his threshold and teamwork in these! He seems to be doing well? No screaming or throwing behaviors.
I did 6’ between jumps and raised the second bar 4” on this one. I missed the note about moving the toy until after we did this session so I left it still again!
Thank you for your help!

ParticipantThank you!! We did the set point today and did some chicken, some tug and it seemed to work pretty well! He was fine with staying in a sit!

ParticipantI tried again today with rotisserie chicken! He still struggled a little with trading for that but he was more willing to drop it when I gave it back sometimes!
Thank you!
