ParticipantWeek 3 Collection Sandwich – Baby Level I was very happy with how he fixed my late cues. Not as happy that I’m giving late cues.

ParticipantWe worked on Threadle cue on New Years Day. I should have stopped the session after the first side but didn’t realize how tired he was until the last rep. No problem with the verbal though. https://youtu.be/WS-oXaTv5BQ?si=jlDyoFkQ-D95mPjp
Today we added more distance to his parallel path. He wasn’t having fun at first and then I realized that a setup cookie isn’t a reward. Rewards made quite a difference!

ParticipantWeek 4 Tunnel Threadle – Left Side
Week 4 Tunnel Threadle – Right Side
Week 4 Parallel Path with Toy – I thought I was releasing with Break and then Get It as he headed to the jump. Not so much.
Week 2 Stealth Self Control – I have done this twice before when I couldn’t video and I am finding the mechanics difficult. I’m dragging him around to get him in position and he’s not having fun. Would it make sense to do it standing? If so, should I use a taller cone?

ParticipantMore barrel with plenty of coaching from my friends. They made me hold to my promise to walk which was much better. I didn’t realize until I saw the video how far back I was starting him. No wonder we had a couple of misses.

ParticipantWeek 3 Turn and Burn again. I didn’t do well on my side – don’t think I ever walked instead of run – but it ended up being a really good exercise for us as he is all about flinging himself to whatever thing I have set out without waiting for a cue and this turned out to be a great place to work with that. I’ll come back later to work on walking to get a cleaner circle and be able to leave sooner.

ParticipantHere are two tries at Turn & Burn with a rest in between. I was mostly trying to get myself moving away sooner. He loves the barrel!
