ParticipantHere is our try of Drive to Handler with a pivot, without food. I think I forgot to call his name, but he did come to me and pivot on most iterations. Note to self…call his name.

ParticipantWobble Board round 2. I moved it on to a carpet and put a balance pad under one side to reduce the movement. I forgot to reset the camera, but I think you can see enough of the exercise.
Laura
ParticipantAnother attempt @ Send to Prop. I felt better with this iteration. As you said in your feedback, I stayed closer to the prop.

ParticipantNext up was trying Plankrobatics. He was able to get all 4 paws on one time, so not bad. We will need to work on it before we can try turning around. I did make sure to use Get It for the reinforcement. I think that will be a huge help, along with adding in other words for the different types of reinforcement.

ParticipantWe worked on Wrap P3. I used a garbage can. He is so fixated on the food, typical Labrador. I set the area up and once he saw the bowls, I was unable to get him to tug before we started. He just kept looking for the cookies. He is getting the idea of this game, but a few times I needed to throw a cookie out to get him re-focused on the game.

ParticipantOur second exercise today was to try backing up. I was skeptical as I have been working some hind end awareness with Teagan without much success. He surprised me and actually did okay.

ParticipantThanks for the feedback on yesterday’s videos. I appreciate your comments. Today’s first exercise was Any Toy, Any Time. I actually have done this with Teagan, as before starting this class I was going over exercises from Colbie’s MAXPup class.

ParticipantAnother round of Wrap work, starting with the stantion. I did some tug before we started. I did need to toss a cookie away a few times to get him out of a sit. He is definitely sitting and downing less.

ParticipantFirst off, thank you for all your replies, even while getting up at the crack of dawn and staying late to course build at the US Open. I don’t know how you are doing it. You are the SUPER INSTRUCTOR!!!!
We tried GOAT Trick 2 using a Wobble board (BTW, I was not able to open your first Wobble Board video, it said Private). Be advised, Teagan has been on the wobble board from the time he came home at 8 weeks.
I initially tried using treats, but moved on to the long tug toy, which worked much better.

ParticipantWe took the Blind Cross exercise outside on this warm November day. A few times he had trouble finding the cookie in the grass, but I think it went well overall.
Any suggestions on how to get Teagan to stop jumping up at my hands?

ParticipantWorked on Send to Prop. Started with just targeting the prop, which he did much better this time around. We then moved on to the send. I needed a few reps to get the mechanics right. As I expected, being a lab, he picked up the prop a few times, he sent a few times, but then was fixated on my hand (aka cookie dispenser). We will try again.
Laura
ParticipantTeagan seemed to do well with Drive to Handler, so we tried with the 180. Again, I played tug before we started the exercise.

ParticipantNext up is Drive to Handler. I played tug with him before we started the exercise.

ParticipantTime for the Blind cross exercise. I need to improve my timing, but I was pleased with how well he did on the exercise.
