I feel so far behind. The two weeks of Christmas have left me struggling just to try and go back and begin to catch up. Is anyone else in the same boat? I’m afraid that the class is going to be so far ahead of me for the next seminar. Our weather isn’t cooperating!

Thank you for your last analysis of film I’m having trouble with my direction for Kai to get out. From the film, you can see that he really doesn’t look at the jump. He’s waiting for the reward to be thrown. Or I’m missing something in what he is supposed to do. I remember you telling us to watch for his head to look to the jump and then through the reward. Am I waiting too late, missing the head cue?
May I still send more film this week? We have the last week of class to record. Looking forward to Dec. class.

Sorry for the technical difficulties today. I got the blind cross OK. And I noticed you worked on the separate elements with me online with the class. I’ll go back and try to put everything together. I am concerned about Kai with his lack of fun working. He’s just not been working well this week, But it isn’t just with agility, it’s been in general. And when he’s really not into it I quit at that time. Do you have any suggestions? He’s just turning six months old, so I know the hormones are setting in, but I just wasn’t sure if I was handling this right. Any suggestions? Thanks Tracy.

Hi Tracy.. I can’t begin To tell you how much I enjoyed agility class with you. You are indeed a master and are really good instructor. I have a concern about working live with Kai as he will be 5 mo old ( not as old as you desire) and we aren’t as far along as this class went( we are working on it). I need your input on this. Thanks for all the great videos.. and really well written PDFs. Our next video is coming!! Ps.. i feel too many of your current students excel way beyond me.. i showed 2x in agility and both lost both of those dogs to death/disabilty issues. Starting again is so much fun and you are teaching me amazing skills not even approached by my past classes.

I am reviewing past lessons and am getting confused about wrapping. In your video Concept Transfer: Rotated Sends: you send the dog around to the right of the basket using either hand.. how do we decide which hand is going to be used? I thought it is based on which side of you the dog is on when approaching the obstacle. Is this correct?

Tracy..I’m not sure how to go about posting these you tube links or if I’m posting in the right spot. But here are two more short videos: week 2 and week 3 work as of Aug.13, 2020. Please direct me to your support staff to correct me.

Here’s our second submission. It’s week one reviewed with some advanced work offered. I’m having trouble with “drive ahead”. If Kai suspects I’m going to hold him by his color or restrain him, he will not come, unless I distract him into a game. We are making progress, but slowly. (I had surgery on a fractured finger). I like to go through each week and revisit, so I’ll go to week 2 next, then week 3 etc. as time allows to record videos. I am certainly enjoying this class and really enjoy your feedback. Thanks Tracy.
