Okay, the plank is a travel plank, I will unfold it and prop it up. I’m also thinking about bringing the teeter in, so I could use that too.

Susie is fired, lol, she had me do figure eights, name turns and say go, lol. She’s working ahead. I will rework the turn and burn and foot target tomorrow. I will watch the videos again first before working him, I think that will help, thank. I also thought about putting a cookie tin under the wobble board?

Thanks for the feedback. I see him getting more confident each day! So excited!

Took advantage of some nice weather and went outside, I’m still not telling him to get the treat . . . Tomorrow, ugh. I noticed I need to throw the treat and let him drive forward, I think the time he looked at me, I hadn’t thrown the treat or indicated driving forward. We worked this yesterday as well. He was driving nicely on the turf. I’m sure Suzie and I will keep working these foundations. Looking forward to feedback . . . I really want to improve me mechanics.

Here some barrel work. I worked with Suzie yesterday, working on my mechanics and I have got to say “get it.” Yesterday we wrapped two barrels, figure 8’s while at Suzie’s. He did really well.

Sorry, previous was wobble board, here’s the plank.

    Again, not saying “get it.”

Trying to catch up. I noticed I’m just throwing the reward and not saying “get it,” I will work on that.

    Here’s some plank work.

Thanks, we played a lot of stay games and blind crosses at the trial site this weekend. He was a rockstar, especially since it was in a crazy high energy environment. I should have videoed there, ugh.

Here’s blind cross practice in a small space. He does really well when we are outside too, it’s just soooo cold right now. He was super excited with the toy this morning. In fact when I went to turn the iPad off I turned around and he had the toy for me to play with him some more 👏👏👏👏😃

Thank you for the invaluable feedback. I will keep playing tug he and I and try to build lots of value.

I have a cone in the garage, will bring it back in and play this a lot. When he get very consistent, do I then stand?

Here’s our wing wrap. Note to self: start close and move out, not the other way around🤦‍♀️ He had been doing super good, but I obviously needed to refresh the game.

Tracy. Here is a game we have played a LOT after breakfast before I let other dogs out of their crates. He had no desire to tug or toy play as a puppy but seemed to like this particular toy. I would play and tug with him every morning after breakfast to build up some joy for the game, ended when I said. He loved to tug with Chewie but I haven’t let them use this toy, should I do that to give it even more value?

Okay, I went back to my first send object, raised a bit, so he doesn’t confuse it with the pre-contacts games we are playing. He has value to put his front feet on the perch box. I think I used a too high value treat, lol. He was way to excited for the chicken (poor starving Sheltie). I will keep working this with a little lower value and see if I can get more distance and movement. Suggestions appreciated.

Here’s the decel and turn. My mechanic seem to be a bit off?

Here’s our first game (sorry about the rear end view 🤦‍♀️, what can I say, it’s my greatest asset, lol). I wanted to get him really playing at first. He still doesn’t like to be brought in to me but he’s getting a lot better. Can’t wait for feedback.

Thank you! I will explore different treats. I have kibble I use in the manners minder but it’s the same color as the carpet, lol. I will probably move to my “yes” marker so I’m not fumbling with treats. Thank you, this was very helpful. See you tonight!

Well, I definitely need to improve my video skills. I’m working with people tomorrow and will ask them to video these two games and send them again. Here are my attempts this morning. We had been working doing a little training and once the food comes out . . . no toy interest at all . . . life with a Sheltie.
https://youtu.be/alScrinu76k (foot touch) We have been playing with the pre-contact class of yours from CleanRun and I’m using a bathroom rug for that with the manners minder for the front feet/back feet. I see he is transitioning some of that game. Do I need only a front foot target? Should I back up and sit down with him?
https://youtu.be/V-_ZHz-3Pas (nose touch) Sorry the videoing skills suck. I’ll have Vicki video tomorrow when I see her, ugh.
