ParticipantYou’re amazing. Thank you!

ParticipantI’ll go try these thing. I have a wobble board, he loves it. Do I have him just back up on it or can he go across? When I go back to the teeter, just front feet slam, don’t get on, only get on backing up?
Lee Tansock
ParticipantSo, I put the teeter half inch from the ground and have him back on? Nothing from the side or ride it down a bit? Is our goal for them to understand the position and not movement. I’m beyond confused. Sorry.

ParticipantSecond part of the teeter session. I tried to get him to back up but he preferred )upping on and offering a four on. Should I block the sides with my legs or is this behavior okay. Don’t we want a touch on the bottom? Let me know how to fix please.

ParticipantHere is our first teeter slam session. It’s kind of long, I’m sorry. I missed a couple of clicks (usual bad dog mom stuff), he seemed to catch on pretty quick and also seems to prefer one side over the other, not sure if that is normal or if I should worry.

ParticipantThanks. Interesting on your recommendation as I am also doing the Weaves Without Worry training using a tunnel. I though a lot about what I needed to change after this mornings first session so, believe it or not, I came to the same conclusion, took the tug toy we play with every morning outside, no treat bag, and we worked the tunnel games with the tug toy and me running dragging it to get him excited (even with the neighbor dog at the fence -that was fun). He actually engaged with me and the toy and we got some really good tug sessions after he exited the tunnel. I will continue with said toy and only use treats on the teeter training and will reach out if there are issues getting him to engage. Thanks for everything.

ParticipantLast – blind cross. I think he is reading them very well.
I’m going to go play lots with Brisk to try and make up for being such a bad dog mom . . . Next training session will be better!

ParticipantHere is adding motion. It sure if I should start to increase me speed yet? How is my connection?

ParticipantHere is the one step. I feel like my arms are to big, but he needed the extra support. Can’t wait for feedback, this needs some help.

ParticipantOkay, I’m about to hit you with a few videos but first I want to say when I watch these videos back I seriously cried (I know, there’s no crying in agility, just cowboy up and fix it). Why do I not play with him more when I’m training? We have a super great relationship and we play a ton, plus I’m trying to get him more engaged with a tug outside or when we train. I have a great bag that I think I’m going to fill with caviar 😃 and see if Incan build value for that to train with.
Anyway, I want you to know I am going to make a conscious effort to really play more with him. Lotus balls are hard to make fun, so I’m open to suggestions. I’m feeling pretty awful right now.
Here’s th first video for the lazy game. I was pleased with his understanding (not mine however).

ParticipantSorry for the video dump. Here is his teeter work. This is his third time on the teeter and I think his confidence is growing a lot each time he gets on. How do we know when to let is drop a bit?
BTW, I now have a sleeping, quiet puppy. I love brain work! See you tomorrow.

ParticipantHere is some plank confidence.
Lee Tansock
ParticipantHere is our lazy game. I should have turned and gone the opposite direction sooner so he had a better understanding.

ParticipantHere’s the one step. Should have taken my shoes off. Wasn’t sure if we should use our verbals before the exit the tunnel. When I stepped he did respond . . . Was I late? Don’t want to start out with him questioning.
