Thanks, hopefully I can get outside at my place today to make these correction. I was working with another person that told me not to reward unless he took the jump (because I was rewarding when went out but didn’t take the jump . . . yesterday was kind of a funk for me, so I think that didn’t help the little guy either. More to come. Thank you so much for your help. I’m please with his progress.

Little Turn Away practice. I need to keep my arms a little lower, but I think he’s getting it. Our snow is gone, and as soon as it’s above 35 and not raining, I can get some jumps and tunnel out for lots more practice.

Thank you! Everything was going south, as was my brain. We should have taken a break and just played a bit (my bad) Will still work more on my engagement, I need to stop worrying about ignoring the person in the room talking with me 🤦‍♀️ I’m hoping to put a tunnel in the mh and take it with us, but no bags.

Yes, I was throwing the toy. I will now go into the tunnel with him and throw when he is committed. Thank you. We’ve been working on engagement after as well. And . . . We had a good game of tug, IN THE BARN 😁 before we started working.

Well, I didn’t edit anything, you will see the whole ugly truth. This didn’t do well at all. I think a couple of things were at play here . . . He was starting the get tired and I think it’s too much pressure for him. He didn’t want to jump towards the tunnel at all, especially with my just standing there. Suzie says he needs to learn to work through it, but today was not that day and I would like to help him until he get more comfortable. Do I continue to move through so that I’m not standing in all the clutter? I definitely did not alleviate his worry on the exercise, poor little guy. I felt like a bad dog mom, I just wasn’t helping at all. He didn’t shut down and leave, but he definitely wasn’t comfortable. Cannot wait to hear your thoughts. And yes, I was trying to get too much done because I’m leaving and wanted some feedback 🤦‍♀️

I think for the first time with motion and no prop he did good. When I drove for the center of the bar and didn’t swing out (thank you Suzie) he read them very well. I think the wrap went well, but we still need more practice. That’s his good side, had much more to do and he was getting tired so we didn’t work the other side. Let me know what I need to do to help him understand better.

We need a lot of work.mi think I was standing on the wrong side, Suzie said no . . . I’ll review video and practice a lot. I found if I really show the push with my arms he read it well. Hope to take a few jumps and find a park next week. Haven’t yet told the hubs I’m taking equipment – wish me luck, lol.

We drove to Riverton, I let him lead, you will see at the end of my video dump, he was tired . . . I’ll say more when I post.

I was super pleased with his drive to the jump. Even with an owie tow.

Well, we hope to be “up and running,” literally, ver soon. He split the nail on his dew claw and it had to be cut off. Hopefully will grow back. Depending on how he is we may get some work in this week, I’m just not sure. Letting him guide me. Next week we are taking the motorhome to have some routine maintenance, fix a slide (I hope, lol) and outfit the car so we can tow it. We are staying in the motorhome in the parking lot of the repair center. I will work what I can, but will definitely catch up when we get back. Ugh, poor little monkey:

Went to the barn today and played Sends N Serps, Zip Zag and Find the jump, we only got the Send and Serps on video, but I’m so happy with all the things. Weather is changing here so hopefully I can set everything up outside and video. Next week I think I will just set it on the tripod and let it run while we work.

So, for now here’s the sends and Serps: https://youtu.be/-901Zrs9GM8

I need to work more on keeping my arm down and back.

More to come this weekend 🙂

Hi! It’s the ditz again, ugh. Practiced wrap verbals close and with distance. First video is close and the reason he doesn’t want to come in to me (which I didn’t realize until watching this) see the bag on the floor that contains the nail dremel, brush and scissors . . . This is my torture spot when I groom and do nails. Bless his heart, he wanted to work but was being cautious:

This video I used some distance and he was much happier:

Someday I will find my brain and be able to use it 🤞🤞🤞

Thank you so much for the feedback, it’s perfect! I will write it in my notebook (and remember it when I practice) to be sure and practice these as well. I keep forgetting to keep my arms down (I do it with the others too 🙁) and to really stay engaged with this little guy. He’s a momma’s boy and I need to remember that when I practice 🤦‍♀️ Thank you so much!
