We have another opportunity in this location TDay weekend… thinking I would set up a tent and stay longer… but help me remember to listen to Dash about that.

Last month we did a Home Depot trip and he rode in the cart seat. He seemed pretty OK with people and let the cashier chat him up. Not as much stress as he showed today.

I think he likes being up high in relation to other dogs. We have a big woof pack at home but he hasn’t had much interaction with “new” dogs. We aren’t in a great place to walk but I will look for good spots. We have a weekend house in the mountains but that hour drive one way on the weekend is uncomfortable (5 dogs)and I haven’t found a great containment solution for him yet.
That’s my goal for now thru Nov is to get out more together.

First visit to Trial. Rush went to a small CPE trial today… and tho he was pretty vigilant I was pleased to see him take treats and eventually rested in a hip down. We stayed a good distance from the ring and tents and no dogs came close tho they did come out in the field where we were sitting. We could only see a bit of ring (yellow tunnel). He took treats, searched for tossed treats, even checked a gopher hole on his own, and performed sits but no interest in toys. Usually he sat on or by my leg…but I liked when he laid down. After about 45 mins he had enuf and was pretty nervous as we left. I even carried him for a bit till we got through to the parking lot. Lots of good info so we can measure future progress. Look forward to your comments. https://youtu.be/vywViuMWQ04
