I saw your bomb drop about camp. That will be an online camp or in person????
We still struggle with running wild at times…the highest peak of perfection and then free fall into the bowels of hell.
How about start line training? That is probably super high pressure?
    Thanks!

Thank you. She processes much better and quicker than I. I worry about bringing my arm back too soon – and thus bringing her in to the backside. More practice on my part without the dog!
    I appreciate your feedback.
Have a great weekend at UKI!

Thank you! she didn’t seem to be going fast – lots to take in up in that arena on the hillside.

We did some serps with a wing and not a tunnel. Hope to do this with a tunnel next week after the rains stop.

Obviously, I need treatment for my “go” babbling.

    Thank you

Hi Tracy. We’re working on the ladder moves, but I’m not sure I’m doing it correctly. Here’s a brief look. Thank you.

Yes, she was looking at me. The teeter and dogwalk are places she can “checkout” in places other than home.

What are the steps for progression? After they drive to the end from a wing wrap, mso you start lowering it gradually?
And we would need to stop doing the teeter while we retrain?
    Thanks!

    Here’s an example. Thankyou!

    I don’t have a tip-it for the teeter.

Okay, sounds good! Thanks for the feedback.

Since we already do the teeter, might you have suggestions to speed it up? I had hoped to get a slide with her, but I most likely didn’t train it properly.

    Thank you!

Casual pinwheel. She wonders why we’re not running and why I’m not connected more- like trying to find my face

Hi Tracy. While we are working on these different backsides, what is the criteria I should use for raising the jumps to her full height? Most of the things in class, I’ve used 16″, but for these I’ve lowered to 12″. We need to work our way up to her full height of 20″.

    Thanks!

PS Should we sign up for Max Pup 3?

Thank you so much for the explanation.

So your recommend is that I use the off arm, correct?

<To help her out,you can shift your connection back to the landing spot as you run forward, then throw the reward back there nice and early 🙂>
This sounds good to help us through this when either the left or the right.

    Wraps –
Thank goodness she doesn’t know what the hell all my blabbing is about! When I reviewed the video, I noticed that I was stopped hard, and moved towards her line I got the rear. What a good dog – Glad I reward her for everything. And my connection when I got the fancy backside 😂 was non-existent. And yet, she tries ❤️.

Got it – for the wing wraps, stronger connection by looking at her eyes.

So I shouldn’t expect her to look at me when I do strong connection – just the jump ahead, correct?

    Thank you.

Hi Tracy. Lots of rain here so get getting to do much. This first video is my try at extreme connection with the backside slice. We don’t have backsides to fluency and I usually do them differently so I could be confusing her. I don’t usually use my off arm.

And these are some tries at the wrap connection- where we weren’t connected at times. Thanks for your help!

Thanks. You’re too kind. It’s really difficult to see if I’m looking at my hands vs her. I need to rethink my camera angle. The other thing- my ”get out” arm – looks too high- as if I’m trying to flag down an airplane flying overhead. It should be lower…correct?

So rather than sending her, I should stay with her and excite the hand drop/eye shift? And keep moving across her line after she takes the jump and flips away?

    Is this better?

    Thank you!

OKay giving it another go! I think I’m crossing her line AND I’m not throwing the reward in the correct place. And probably many more things.
    Thanks!
