ParticipantDid a lot of work at the US Open this weekend, but not a lot of videoing (well videoing us at least). I was able to think and get some snuffle mat work filmed while we were watching round two of nationals. Over all he did really well, but by Sunday his brain was fried to the point he wouldn’t even take a treat. He met lots of people saw some others he met at AKC nationals, played with some new dogs and some puppies. I think his best was hanging out ringside with his littermate and being behaved. Here is his snuffle mat work.

ParticipantShort video I made with his new birthday snuffle mat and carrying case. We work the snuffle mat a lot and he has even done it at a small agility trial recently.

ParticipantOther animals are a huge trigger for Luke seeing them on TV is just as much of a trigger as live. We have been working it and now the Geico gecko only sets him off occasionally. To do this home work I decided to up the ante and put on agility tv. He had some struggles but I could tell he was trying.

ParticipantHere is some of the relaxation conditioning done in time lapse. He is doing well, but definitely a work in progress.

ParticipantHere is a video from when we entered a small trial to see where he was at. This was the first time he went into a ring without food, and it was a new place with some excitement.

ParticipantI can’t find any videos of his stress behavior. At home and in class he has plenty of confidence, I will try and get some behavior at a different training center this week.
